-Renovation of "Holmes Amagasaki Store" - A space where you can relax like at home and discover new lifestyles-

Shimachu Co., Ltd. (Head office: Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture; President and CEO: Okano Yasuaki; hereinafter referred to as Shimachu) and TSUTAYA BOOKS Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA) have jointly renovated the Holmes Amagasaki store, the first store in Western Japan to offer a space that aims to offer an experiential lifestyle that feels like spending time at home, and opened Amagasaki's first BOOK & CAFE, TSUTAYA BOOKS Holmes Amagasaki, on Tuesday, October 27th.

Holmes Amagasaki store, which has undergone a complete renovation, is known for its ability to be a long-lasting companion. Based on the concept of "A place where you can live your life to the fullest," a new area will be created that combines the know-how of Shimachu and TSUTAYA. The area will have seasonal themes, combine furniture, books, and miscellaneous goods, and offer lifestyle suggestions that will help you reexamine your daily life from various perspectives and add color to your life.

In addition, Amagasaki's first BOOK & CAFE, "TSUTAYA BOOKS Holmes Amagasaki Store," and the cafe "LE GARAGE" will be located in the same space, where customers can relax and enjoy a book before purchasing it while enjoying a drink or meal. Customers can also enjoy reading while sipping a drink on the sofas or dining tables inside "Holmes Amagasaki Store."

Shimadachi and TSUTAYA will continue to offer ideas for making daily life more colorful.

By combining furniture, books, and miscellaneous goods, we aim to make it easier for each customer to imagine their own lifestyle, and to offer experiential lifestyle suggestions that will lead to discoveries that will enrich their lives.

(2) Amagasaki's first BOOK & CAFE where you can relax with furniture that you can also purchase

The store houses "TSUTAYA BOOKS Holmes Amagasaki Branch" and "LE GARAGE."You can relax with furniture, books, and drinks (take-out available). All furniture in the store is available for purchase.

(3) A fusion of books and miscellaneous goods by theme

The adjacent "TSUTAYA BOOKS Holmes Amagasaki Store" is based on the concept of "a BOOK & CAFE that makes life in Amagasaki more enjoyable and enriching," and combines books and related goods under themes such as "food," "beauty and health," and "life."Along with books, we also offer suggestions for interior and kitchen items that are suited to everyday life.

(4) Kids' space

There are two spacious play areas for kids inside the store. There are two areas: one where children aged 1 to 2 years old and their parents can relax, and the other where children aged 3 to 8 years old can play on play equipment even on rainy days, so families of all ages can enjoy themselves with peace of mind.
