--The supermarket version of DX has begun in the era of new lifestyles and smart living!--
T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nagashima Hiroaki; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan"), together with Maruetsu Inc. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Furuse Ryota; hereinafter referred to as "Maruetsu"), will launch the "Mobile T Card" which can be used at Maruetsu stores from Friday, February 26, 2021.
The "Mobile T Card" is a service that allows you to earn and use T Points by presenting the barcode screen displayed on your smartphone when paying, and allows you to use the same services as a T Card without contact. We have received many requests from Maruetsu customers regarding the use of the Mobile T Card, and we will now be launching the service at all Maruetsu, Maruetsu Petit, and Lincos stores. Customers using the Maruetsu Flyer App can use the app by tapping "Click here for Mobile T Card!" at the top of the screen and registering their Mobile T Card.
Maruetsu and T-Point Japan are planning and developing new shopping services for new lifestyles and smart lives, and are promoting DX (digital transformation) in supermarkets. In addition to the launch of the Mobile T Card, Maruetsu will also begin offering Scan & Go Ignica, which allows customers to register products and make payments using their smartphones without having to wait in line at the register, from Friday, February 26th, and Online Delivery Ignica, which allows customers to easily order and have fresh food and daily necessities delivered from their smartphones or computers, from Thursday, March 4th. These services allow customers to accumulate and use T Points at select stores where these services are available. "Scan & Go Ignica" and "Online Delivery Ignica" will be gradually expanded in the future, providing a contactless, safe and smooth shopping environment.
To commemorate the launch of Mobile T Card at Maruetsu, we will be running a campaign from Friday, February 26th to Sunday, February 28th where you can earn five times the T Points when you shop with a T Card or Mobile T Card.
Maruetsu and T Point Japan will continue to provide services that transform the needs that arise in this new lifestyle into customer value, aiming to provide a fun and safe shopping experience for many customers.
■Service start date: Friday, February 26, 2021
■ Participating stores: All 300 stores of "Maruetsu," "Maruetsu Petit," and "Rincos" (excluding Uoetsu Kojiya store)
■How to use:
1. Install a Mobile T Card compatible app, such as the Maruetsu Flyer App, on your smartphone.
2. Register your T-Card number and set up the display of your mobile T-Card.
3. If you present the barcode screen on your smartphone at the time of payment, you can earn and use T points according to the amount of your payment.
■Service start date: Friday, February 26, 2021
■Participating stores: Funabashi Sanyama store and Shin-Otsuka store from Friday, February 26th, and 63 Maruetsu stores from Saturday, February 27th.
*Service will be launched sequentially from the time of introduction.
■T Point Award: Earn 1 point for every 200 yen (excluding tax, after discounts) spent.
■T Point usage: 1 point can be used as 1 yen.
■How to use:
1. Install the "Scan & Go Ignica" app and register your customer information.
2. Scan the barcode of the product you want to purchase in-store with the app and pay with credit or PayPay.
3. Simply hold the QR code displayed on the checkout screen over the QR code reader installed in the store to complete your purchase.
■T Point Campaign: Until Wednesday, June 30, 2021, we will give you 100 T Points as a first-time user bonus. In addition, we will be running a campaign where you can earn 5 times the T Points until March 31, 2021.
■Service start date: Thursday, March 4, 2021
■Introduction area: Higashi-Narashino store area
*Service will be launched as areas expand.
■T Point Award: Earn 1 point for every 200 yen (excluding tax, after discounts) spent.
■T Point usage: 1 point can be used as 1 yen.
■How to use:
1. Install the "Online Delivery Ignica" app and register your customer information.
2. Select the product you want to purchase on the app and choose the delivery time and location.
3. Your purchase is complete when you pay by credit card.
■Campaign period: Friday, February 26th, 2021 to Sunday, February 28th, 2021
■Campaign details: If you present your T Card or Mobile T Card when shopping during the campaign period, you will earn 5 times the T Points for each purchase amount.
*Uoetsu Kojiya store is not included. *Some products are not eligible.
*Only "regular points" are eligible, "product bonus points" are not eligible for the benefit.
*For every 200 yen (excluding tax), you will receive 5 times the normal points (1 point).
[Maruetsu Flyer App & Mobile T Card Campaign]
■Campaign period: March 1st (Mon) to March 31st (Wed), 2021
■Campaign details: During the campaign period, the Maruetsu Flyer App will offer a variety of great deals!
・Install the new "Maruetsu Flyer App", log in, and receive 30 T Points when you spend 200 yen or more (excluding tax) at Maruetsu. Additionally, you will receive 50 T Points when you use the Mobile T Card.
・We also hold a T-Point lottery that you can enter every day.
[Overview of the "Double T Points Campaign for App Purchases"]
If you enter the campaign website and present your Mobile T Card when paying during the campaign period, you will earn double the T Points for each purchase.
*A Yahoo! JAPAN ID is required to enter.
*Some stores, services, products, and points are not eligible.
*Once you enter the campaign, you will be eligible for the benefits until the campaign end date.
*The maximum bonus points are 10,000 points per month, for a total of 30,000 points.
