T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nagashima Hiroaki; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") will be installing a "T Point Donation Box" that allows contactless donations at COMMUNE in Omotesando from Monday, March 15th to Wednesday, March 31st, 2021, with the aim of establishing a new style of donations in the new normal era.

As the world faces the unprecedented crisis of COVID-19, some NGOs, NPOs, and other organizations have been forced to suspend their street fundraising activities. In response to this situation, T Point Japan has decided to use the "T Point Donation" platform, which allows users to easily donate from just one point using their smartphone, with the aim of spreading a new, contactless and safe style of donation in the new normal era.As a symbol of this, they have decided to install an installation of a "T Point Donation Box" that allows for street donations without human interaction. Going forward, we will monitor the fundraising situation in Omotesando and consider expanding similar initiatives to other parts of Japan. In addition to the "T Point Donation" installation, you can also donate T Points directly via the Internet.

T Point Japan will continue to strive to create new social value, with the aim of ensuring that T Points and T Cards "connect people and society" for the more than 70 million T Members across Japan.

How to donate with "T Point Donation"

2. Select the organization you would like to donate to on the T-Point donation site.
3. Click the "Donate" button, enter the number of points you want to donate, and you're done.

*To donate T Points, you must log in with your Yahoo! JAPAN ID (registration is free).

"T-Point Donation Box" installation design concept

Now that it is no longer possible to collect donations on the street, we will set up an installation that will allow for donations on the street without the need for a human. The mannequin is holding a T-Point donation box with a 2D barcode on it.
The themes for which T-Point donations are being collected have been categorized into seven of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and the installation has been given the color of each goal, expressing the fact that support can be given to a wide variety of themes.
