T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nagashima Hiroaki; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") and Futaba Tosho Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nishi-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President and CEO: Yokoyama Jun; hereinafter referred to as "Futaba Tosho") will gradually launch the T Point service at all stores that sell Futaba Tosho products. First, we will start providing the service at Futaba Books TSUTAYA GIGA Itsukaichi Store (formerly GIGA Itsukaichi Store) from Friday, April 9, 2021.

Contactless shopping, from payment to points earned with just your smartphone

T Point Japan aims to create value that can be used by anyone, anywhere, anytime, for anything, through various services such as the shared point service "T Point," using the T Card, which is used by 70.66 million people, or one in two people in Japan, as their ID.

At the time of payment, use your "T Card" or "Mobile T Card" ( https://web.tsite.jp/serv/mb-tcard/ ) you will receive 1 T Point for every 200 yen (excluding tax) spent. Accumulated T Points can be used at over 170,000 T Point partner stores, with 1 point equaling 1 yen, including over 150 stores in Hiroshima Prefecture, such as restaurants, electronics retailers, beauty salons, and real estate agents, as well as supermarkets, convenience stores, and drugstores nationwide.

In addition, the "TSUTAYA app" allows you to charge cash to your T card and accumulate T points with the electronic money "T Money" ( https://tsite.jp/pc/r/tmoney/index.pl ), as well as in-store inventory search, coupon display, and even the ability to have items ordered through the app delivered to your home or picked up in-store. With just the smartphone in your hand, we will provide a smoother and more comfortable customer experience.

Advance applications for T-Point Cards will begin at Futaba Books TSUTAYA GIGA Itsukaichi store on Wednesday, March 17th. Please note that points will be awarded to the Foreca Card, which has been a long-standing favorite of ours, until Thursday, April 8th*, and points can be used until Thursday, July 8th*.

*The above information regarding points allocation and usage dates for the Foreca card applies only to Futaba Books TSUTAYA GIGA Itsukaichi store.
