T Point Japan Co., Ltd.
SMBC Mobit Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Nobuyuki Nakatsuji, hereinafter referred to as "SMBC Mobit") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Hiroaki Nagashima, hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") will launch a service from Monday, May 10, 2021, which allows T Points to be used to repay SMBC Mobit card loans.
This service allows you to use points earned at T-Point partner stores nationwide to repay SMBC Mobit card loans, and is the first of its kind in the non-bank industry. This will allow you to earn and use T Points in conjunction with the "Service that allows you to earn T Points by repaying your card loan" that began on Monday, March 30, 2020.
SMBC Mobit has responded to customer needs by offering a variety of repayment methods, including ATM repayments using Mobit cards, account transfers, smartphone ATM transactions, and internet repayments. By adding this new repayment method, we will provide our customers with an even more convenient and easy-to-use card loan service.
T Point Japan is working to expand T Points across a variety of financial services. Through this initiative, we aim to create customer value in the financial sector while making T Points and T Cards a force that connects people and society.
SMBC Mobit and T Point Japan will continue to strive to improve services in order to increase customer convenience.
■How to use
Please complete the procedure from the dedicated screen of the member-only service "My Mobi" (PC version/smartphone app version) (T Point usage procedure must be completed in advance)
■ Usage unit
1 point or more per transaction, in 1 point increments
■Conversion rate(※)
1 point = 1 yen
*The conversion rate when applying points to repay loans is subject to change.
