SBI Insurance Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masaaki Igarashi; hereinafter referred to as "SBI Insurance") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroaki Nagashima; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") will launch a service on May 26, 2021, that allows customers to use T Points, Japan's largest shared points service used by 70.69 million people (※1), to pay their SBI Insurance automobile insurance premiums.

From now on, new customers who apply for "SBI Insurance Auto Insurance" will be able to use T Points when paying their insurance premiums, with 1 point equivalent to 1 yen, up to a maximum of 10% of the premium. This service, which allows the use of T Points to pay insurance premiums, is the first of its kind in the non-life insurance industry (※2).

SBI Insurance has always offered various insurance premium payment methods in an effort to improve customer convenience. "SBI Insurance's Auto Insurance" offers reasonable premiums, including a 12,500 yen discount (※3) for new applications made online. However, by utilizing T Points, you can get even more savings and convenience when purchasing auto insurance.

SBI Insurance has created and provided high-quality non-life insurance services based on a customer-centric approach, pursuing its corporate philosophy of "New insurance for a new era."
T Point Japan is working to expand T Points across a variety of financial services. Through this initiative, we aim to create customer value in the financial sector while making T Points and T Cards a force that connects people and society.

・If a partial refund of the insurance premium occurs due to cancellation or change of contract contents during the insurance period, the entire insurance premium will be refunded in cash, and points will not be refunded.
