In July 2020, CCC Marketing established the CCC Marketing Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "CCCMK Research Institute") to provide useful information to help consumers realize their "slightly better" goals, based on consumption data, consumer insights and changes in mindset, as well as the social and economic environment. In the same year, the "1st Student Marketing Study Group" was held as part of efforts to create innovation through co-creation with a wide range of parties, including consumers, companies, educational institutions, and local governments. Eight seminars from six universities and four private companies participated, and university students presented their research results on solutions to corporate marketing challenges, and the overall winning team was decided.

The research theme of the 2021 Student Marketing Study Group has been set as "Understanding modern consumption and creating new marketing plans from a young person's perspective." Five private companies, namely, Asahi Shimbun Co., Ltd., Edion Co., Ltd., Xebio Co., Ltd., Seven-Eleven Japan Co., Ltd., and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., will participate, and the group will be held from Saturday, August 21, 2021 to Saturday, December 18, 2021. During this period, university students will be able to interview and engage in dialogue with representatives of general companies about marketing issues. CCC Marketing provides support based on its database marketing know-how, while providing a variety of assets such as data and research services.
