CCC Marketing Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "CCCMK Research Institute"), a research institute established in July 2020 by CCC Marketing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kitamura Kazuhiko) to communicate the thoughts of 70 million people, is pleased to announce that it will begin publishing a monthly "Industry Weather Forecast," a compilation of consumer trends and outlooks in seven retail industries based on its own research and analysis.
CCCMK Research Institute has conducted various original surveys, published survey and analysis reports, and held online seminars, with the aim of returning the various data and assets held by CCC Marketing to society and realizing a world where its mission can be realized through co-creation with all kinds of people, including consumers, companies, educational institutions, and local governments.
We are pleased to announce the release of our "Industry Weather Forecast," an original survey of consumer trends and outlooks in seven retail industries: convenience stores, supermarkets, drugstores, home improvement stores, restaurants, department stores, and shopping centers, combining receipt data from users of "Recica," a household accounting app that allows users to earn T-points with shopping receipts, with surveys of companies conducted by researchers at CCCMK Research Institute. We will publish monthly industry trends and forecasts based on consumer behavior, taking into account the purchasing habits of our "Recica" users, interviews with various companies conducted by our researchers, the market taking into account the external environment, and corporate performance.
CCCMK Research Institute aims to become a research institute that communicates the thoughts of 70 million consumers, and will continue to examine new ways of collaboration based on consumer data and insights, helping to realize consumers' "nice moments" and providing useful information to companies.
