Since 2018, CCC Marketing, together with Dentsu Okinawa, has been participating in the Okinawa tourism branding project "Be.Okinawa," organized by Okinawa Prefecture, and has been working on a local project to communicate the value of Okinawa to society. "Be.Okinawa" represents the idea that Okinawa is a place where travelers can blend into the atmosphere and scenery of the place, interact with the people who live there, connect with them emotionally, and thereby rediscover their true selves.
In 2018, the theme was "Nuchigusui" (meaning medicine for life in Okinawan), and events featuring Okinawan food, folk art, and art were held at Daikanyama T-Site and Umeda T-Site, proposing the healing power that Okinawa exudes. In 2019, an exhibition of Mika Chiba, whose artwork is influenced by the charm of Okinawa's landscape, was held at Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore, creating an extraordinary space where visitors could feel the nature and warmth of Okinawa through her works. In 2020, under the theme of "Thinking of Okinawa," which was appropriate given the COVID-19 pandemic, he wrote about his feelings for Okinawa in the series "Pen+: Our next travel destination, Okinawa."In addition to publishing the book, an event was held at Futako Tamagawa Tsutaya Electrics where visitors could experience the world of Okinawa through video and music.
The Gold Award in the Magazine category was presented by the Okinawa Advertising Association in recognition of the magazine's contribution to deepening understanding of the brand among domestic tourists by putting into print the seven-year efforts of Okinawa Prefecture's tourism brand project, "Be.Okinawa."In addition, the program delved into and highlighted the appeal of Okinawa from various perspectives, and contributed to promoting the new value of Okinawan tourism.
