- Returning "T" data to various local communities and working with them to create a richer life for their citizens -
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki) and CCC Marketing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kitamura Kazuhiko) (hereinafter referred to as the "CCC Group"), together with Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture (Mayor: Tamai Toshihisa), will be implementing matchmaking support using T-Card lifestyle data*1 (hereinafter referred to as "T Data") as part of a policy to encourage young people to move to and settle in the city.
The CCC Group is working to give back "T" data to society and consumers, working with various regions across Japan to increase the value of their communities and create a richer life for their citizens. Now, in order to contribute to solving social issues such as the declining birthrate and aging population and regional revitalization, and to realizing a prosperous society for the next generation, CCC Marketing will begin providing its original AI matching*2 function to local governments across Japan, and will begin an initiative to have it used for matchmaking support and other purposes.
As the first step, this initiative will use data from "T" to analyze "the profile of people who are interested in marriage and likely to settle in Saijo City after marriage," and will promote and disseminate information, including optimal announcements and appeal methods, to lead to participation in the matchmaking event "LOVE SAIJO de Ai Event vol.10," to be held in Saijo City on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Through this initiative, we aim to increase the number of new participants in Saijo City's matchmaking events and the number of successful marriages. In the future, we will also consider utilizing AI matching in Saijo City to encourage people to move to and settle in the city. Saijo City is the first local government in Japan to use "T" data to support matchmaking.

*2: We have developed an AI-based matching algorithm that predicts lifestyles and values such as food, clothing, and shelter based on T-Card data, and predicts compatibility between two people by applying machine learning to the model data. When developing the algorithm, we prioritize protecting our customers' personal information and privacy, and use trend data obtained through statistical analysis of T Card data.
