Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. Tsutaya Bookstore Company (hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA) and ENN Co., Ltd. (Head office: Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture / President and CEO: Tajima Hiromitsu), a member company of TSUTAYA, have reopened the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Kawasaki Ekimae Store on Monday, August 2, 2021, on the 5th floor of Kawasaki DICE, which houses restaurants and a movie theater at the east exit of Kawasaki Station. The store features TSUTAYA's new SHARE LOUNGE concept.
TSUTAYA Kawasaki Ekimae store, which opened in 2003, has now moved to the 5th floor of the same building as TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Kawasaki Ekimae store and has been renovated as a place where people who live and work in Kawasaki can gather and relax.
Located in the area centered around Keikyu Kawasaki Station, where planned urban development befitting the gateway to Kawasaki is being promoted, including the introduction of features that will allow people and goods from Japan and abroad to gather and interact, TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Kawasaki Ekimae Store will enrich the daily lives of the people of Kawasaki City with a diverse range of proposals, including 170,000 books, stationery goods that will make your daily life more enjoyable, and food goods that will allow you to experience the unique characteristics of various parts of Japan.
Furthermore, as Kawasaki City's female population is increasing year by year, the facility will also feature a self-beauty salon and gym, and aim to become a base where women can enrich their "me time" while reading books.
We also have a "SHARE LOUNGE" (shared lounge) that combines the convenience of a "shared office" with the comfort of a "lounge."This is the second store in Kanagawa Prefecture, following the one at Shonan T-SITE. It offers a cozy, lounge-like space decorated with carefully selected furniture, a full range of amenities including free drinks and nuts, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, and books and magazines available for you to read in the SHARE LOUNGE.
Various events are planned for the future, and the cafe will serve as both a cafe and a place to work, providing a place where people living and working in Kawasaki City can gather and interact.
