Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. Tsutaya Bookstore Company (hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA) and T-TOWN Co., Ltd. (Head office: Naniwa-ku, Osaka City / Representative Director: Koura Yoshio), a member company of TSUTAYA, have opened TSUTAYA BOOSKTORE Apla Takaishi in Apla Takaishi, a gathering place for Takaishi citizens that includes a civic cultural hall, lifelong learning center, library, and more.
In conjunction with this opening, we will be producing the space for the adjacent food hall, providing a place where people can refresh themselves with family and friends while focusing on food.
"TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Apla Takaishi" is a "BOOK & CAFE" style bookstore based on the concept of "Takaishi Living."
Takaishi City supports families with children under the slogan "If you want to raise children, come to Takaishi City." As a bookstore where you can spend time with your family while watching over your children's growth, we have the largest selection of children's books in the region and have set up "parent-child only" seats where you can read picture books with your children.
In addition, we aim to be a place where residents of Takaishi City can gather, and where they can enrich their communication with family, friends, and other important people, centered around books and a cafe, by stocking a wide selection of stationery and miscellaneous goods that children would like to have and holding events that allow them to see their children's growth.
In the "BOOK & CAFE" style store, "LE GARAGE," the second store in the Kansai region, you can relax and read a book before purchasing while sipping on lemonade or coffee that has been carefully prepared in-store for 72 hours, or enjoying a diverse menu including fresh pasta, doria, and desserts.
Additionally, the adjacent food hall has been entirely designed around the concept of a "Food Terrace," providing an open, terrace-like space where families with children can refresh themselves and connect with one another over a meal. You can also enjoy a meal with a book before purchasing in the food hall.

In addition to offering one of the largest selections of children's books in the region, TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE offers lifestyle suggestions centered on food, beauty, health, and daily life, as well as in-store displays that allow you to quickly access the latest information, providing discoveries that will enrich your daily life.
2) A department where families can enjoy shopping together
In addition to books, we also carry a wide variety of stationery and miscellaneous goods, as well as food and clothing items, and even Bornelund toys for children, so the whole family can enjoy shopping here.
3) LE GARAGE, the second cafe in the Kansai region
LE GARAGE, the second store in the Kansai region, will open as a BOOK & CAFE where you can enjoy a meal while browsing books before purchasing them.
In addition to our carefully crafted homemade lemonade, our sugar-free banana juice, which can be enjoyed by people of all ages, is also very popular. To celebrate the opening, we will be selling a limited-time exclusive menu item, "Strawberry Lemonade," which is only available at the Apla Takaishi store. 4) Producing a food hall where customers can dine in a terrace-like space
This food hall is designed to have a terrace-like space where families with children can naturally connect with each other. The lineup includes five authentic specialty shops, including the "Taisho Roman Omelette Rice" that was popular at Nakanoshima Central Public Hall, fluffy shaved ice made with high-quality matcha from the long-established tea shop "Tsuboichi," udon noodles with special broth, fried chicken made with a secret recipe, and a shop specializing in Thai soul food, gapao.
The food hall has a kids' space where children can eat in peace, as well as an area where you can read picture books and keep an eye on your children as you eat.
