Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. Tsutaya Bookstore Company (hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA) and its subsidiary Tsutaya Investment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. have signed a franchise agreement with Renheng Isetan Commercial Co., Ltd. and opened the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Tianjin Renheng Isetan Store, the first TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE in mainland China, on September 30, 2021.
The TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Tianjin Renheng Isetan store will be located on the second basement floor of the Tianjin Renheng Isetan shopping complex, which opened on the same day on the banks of the Haihe River, a representative river in Tianjin that flows through the city.
Directly connected to Dongnanjiao Station on Subway Line 2, Tianjin Jin Heng Isetan is based on the concept of "Shopping Museum - Value Up Your Moment -" and is lined with tenants that will enrich your life, from food to lifestyle goods.
TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Tianjin Jinko Isetan Store will also be in line with the concept of the commercial facility, aiming to be a space filled with lifestyle suggestions that will allow Tianjin customers to enjoy a better life.
TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE will continue to inspire the creativity of people in Japan and China, and aim to become a special place loved by many by offering new reading styles and exciting experiences.

1) BOOK & CAFE, a lifestyle-focused store that combines bookstores and cafes
The store has approximately 42,000 books and approximately 100 cafe seats. You can also enjoy a variety of drinks, including our signature lattes made with coffee and tea, while reading books and magazines and looking out over the adjacent indoor garden.
In the "BOOK & CAFE" space, which is designed with comfort in mind, we offer a selection of books and miscellaneous goods aimed at Tianjin's intellectually-savvy customers, proposing a "lifestyle you'll want."
2) Suggested items to enrich your daily life
We stock a wide range of items to enrich your daily life, with a focus on stationery and miscellaneous goods imported from Japan. The fashion area, located in the center of the store, will offer fashion items such as scarves and bags that will add a touch of glamour to your outfit, as well as wearable fragrances and other products that will add an accent to your everyday outfits.
Other products on offer include the "DARUMA THREAD/trikotri KIT" (photo left), which allows you to create your own cute characters using a variety of yarns; the 10th anniversary model of SAILOR's popular fountain pen "cocktail" series (photo center); and "PUEBCO" (photo right), a Japanese lifestyle goods brand that aims to be somewhere between art and everyday items. These will add to your daily life and make it more enjoyable.
3) Kids area for parents and children to enjoy together
The KIDS area boasts the largest selection of children's books in the region, and in addition to children's books categorized by target age, it also features products that can be used as gifts, a corner with educational toys that can be used and tried out, a KIDS space where children can read picture books, and even a corner for home education where parents are encouraged to read, making it a space where parents and children can enjoy themselves.
After the opening, we also plan to hold events such as picture book readings.
4) Proposal of Japanese culture
We will be presenting books and miscellaneous goods from various angles, such as manga culture as a contemporary culture, old and new Japanese art, and learning about Japanese culture from history.
As part of our efforts to promote Japanese culture, we have set up a corner for Japanese IP products. We stock a wide range of popular Japanese manga, merchandise, and illustration collections by artists. To commemorate the opening, we will also be exhibiting and selling reproductions of One Piece manuscripts and original drawings.
