Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as CCC), Takashimaya Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President and CEO: Murata Yoshiro; hereinafter referred to as Takashimaya), and Toshin Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. (Head office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kuramoto Shinsuke; hereinafter referred to as Toshin Kaihatsu), a consolidated subsidiary of Takashimaya in the commercial development industry, have established a joint venture company, TTC LIFESTYLE Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as TTC), which will utilize mutual channels in the sale of art and open and operate stores that offer lifestyle content.

CCC is a company that creates cultural infrastructure. With this mission in mind, we plan and propose culture and lifestyles that will make life more enjoyable through various platforms, including Tsutaya Bookstore. In this joint venture, CCC will utilize its network in the contemporary art field to discover artists and procure artworks. In the future, we will also consider opening attractive stores such as Tsutaya Bookstores in Takashimaya Group commercial facilities both in Japan and overseas.

Under the group's comprehensive strategy of "urban development," Takashimaya and Toshin Development provide products and services tailored to local characteristics and customers at commercial facilities both in Japan and overseas. In this joint venture, Takashimaya will leverage its strong customer base and long track record of proposing art and culture to customers through its external sales and other channels, offering artworks procured by CCC. Toshin Development, which develops and operates commercial facilities, will play a role in providing high-quality store space and maximizing the appeal of the building when opening stores such as Tsutaya Bookstore.

The joint venture, TTC, will act as an intermediary for art works and open and operate stores such as Tsutaya Bookstore. TTC aims to maximize synergies by conducting joint ventures related to the three companies' strengths of "promoting and proposing lifestyles and culture."In addition, we will work to develop the art market and contribute to revitalizing the art scene and realizing a richer lifestyle for our customers by proposing attractive content.
