Meitetsu Department Store Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President and CEO: Shibata Hiroshi; hereinafter referred to as "Meitetsu Department Store") and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") will open "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Meitetsu Nagoya" on the 8th floor of the main building on Wednesday, December 1st, in conjunction with the completion of the remodeling of Meitetsu Department Store Main Branch. The store aims to provide a "special space" for customers who use not only the department store but also Nagoya Station, and to propose lifestyle suggestions that allow for encounters and discoveries about new lifestyles centered around books, stationery, miscellaneous goods and the "SHARELOUNGE."

This store is a lifestyle-oriented bookstore with the concept of "a bookstore that makes department stores even more fun."In addition to stocking a wide range of books, stationery and miscellaneous goods, the store will also feature a kids' space, children's books and educational toys at the heart of its sales floor, and will offer a selection of products that can be enjoyed by three generations of parents and children, providing a relaxing space where customers can spend time alone or with their families.

Additionally, we will have a "SHARE LOUNGE," the first of its kind in the Tokai region. "SHARE LOUNGE" combines the convenience of a "shared office" with the comfort of a "lounge." It is a new space that can be used as both a cafe and an office, allowing you to spend your time freely and in your own way to your heart's content.

Meitetsu Department Store has positioned 2021 as the "year of restarting" and is carrying out a remodel to create a "more convenient and comfortable department store" as a terminal department store. In addition to our main target of adult women, we aim to create a store where customers of all ages who use Nagoya Station can not only enjoy shopping, but also have a good time.
