--10th anniversary project featuring "words" and "things" from Tuesday, November 16, 2021 to Friday, December 31, 2021--

Daikanyama T-Site (Sarugakucho, Shibuya-ku) will celebrate its 10th anniversary on December 5, 2021.

Surrounded by greenery, where you can feel the seasons and smell the aroma of coffee, we propose a lifestyle aimed at adults that starts with books... This was the beginning of the Daikanyama T-Site project. Based on the concept of a "library in the forest," the store quietly opened in the morning, with only two customers. Now, thanks to you, it has grown into a facility that welcomes 10,000 customers a day.

Daikanyama T-Site has not grown solely through its own efforts. We have walked this path together with creators and other creative people who offer colorful proposals, as well as the customers who visit our store.
The most commonly exchanged element in this co-creation was words. Discussions with creators about what to propose and how to propose it, encouragement and feedback from customers, and various other "words" have helped Daikanyama T-Site grow.

To commemorate our 10th anniversary, we will be holding a store-wide fair called "Forest of Words," which will bring together the words and special events of the people who have helped create this bookstore.

On Friday, December 3rd, we will also open the "SHARE LOUNGE," which will combine workspace and lounge functions, on the second floor of Daikanyama T-Site Building No. 3.
Daikanyama T-SITE, which is connected to Daikanyama T-SITE by a walking path, will also be holding a 10th anniversary event. Look forward to the highly original events at each store.

1. "Forest of Words" Exhibition (Building 2, 1st floor gallery) (November 16th - December 8th)
The words of over 100 people, including creators, writers, and local residents who helped create Daikanyama T-Site, will be projected in the Bookshelf Gallery.

2. Daikanyama T-Site Bunko "Forest of Words" Giveaway (December 3rd)
Customers who make a purchase will receive a special paperback book (limited quantities) that chronicles the 10-year history of Daikanyama T-Site and includes messages that will be displayed in the "Forest of Words."

3. Letter from Daikanyama "Gift of a Letter" (December 9, 2021 - January 6, 2022)
"Letter from Daikanyama," which was well received at the end of last year, will be updated and held again this year. Details will be announced at a later date.

4. FUKU-BIKI (December 5th, December 12th, December 19th)
During the fair, customers who spend 5,000 yen or more will be entered into a raffle.

5. Bentley Morning Cruise Special (December 12th, 7:00~10:00)
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the start of production of the famous British car, Bentley. This morning cruise, which will bring together Bentley owners and spectators, will feature an actual display of the long-awaited Bentayga Hybrid.

6. Each floor is packed with fairs by creators and concierges
・Humanities Floor: The "Concierge's 10" fair will be held, with four concierges each selecting 25 recommended books, based on the theme of "10" for the 10th anniversary. Additionally, we have prepared related projects such as a fair booklet containing congratulatory comments from 10 celebrities and a series of talk events.

・Architecture and Design Floor: At the "One Book" selection fair, architects and designers who have participated in previous fairs will select "one book they would like to recommend to customers of Daikanyama T-Site."At the same time, DAIKANYAMA DESIGN DEPARTMENT (DDD) will be running, introducing a total of 30 creators active across the country under the concept of "purchasing your favorite designs."

- Art Floor: Special collaboration items by TACOMA FUJI RECORDS and Tomoo Gokita will be sold exclusively at this store.

・Gallery space: A solo exhibition by sculptor Takahiro Tajima will be held. A variety of sculptures will be on display, including rare early works. (December 9th to January 6th, 2022)

- Car and Bike Floor: A solo exhibition by illustrator and painter Marvin S. Hiroyuki will be held. There will also be a fair to create a "serious playground" in collaboration with CHALLENGER, a brand popular among skaters and bikers.

・Cooking floor: We will be showcasing a variety of tableware from Kyoto's "TOKINOHA Ceramic Studio" and styling by stylist Tsugane Yukiko, suggesting ways to enjoy tableware and incorporate it into your daily life.

・Travel Floor: Jerry Ukai, a hugely popular illustrator who loves the outdoors and his lifestyle. We have held collaboration fairs at our store many times, but this time we will be offering a special event to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

・Stationery Floor: An original fountain pen, "ON YOUR BIRTHDAY," designed and produced by the stationery concierge will be on sale to commemorate the 10th anniversary.

- Kids Floor: Ten specially created reproductions by popular artist Junaida will be on display and for sale. There will also be online talk events during the period.

・Video Floor: On sale are the latest works and special models from Royal Selangor, the world's largest pewter manufacturer and the first in Asia. The main focus this time is "friendly neighborhood" Spider-Man.

・Music Floor: We will be offering special items to commemorate our 10th anniversary with Petrolz, a musical artist we respect.
...and more, a total of 14 fairs will be held to celebrate the 10th anniversary, with each concierge putting their heart and soul into the event.

7. Anjin's limited edition dessert & IVY PLACE's specially brewed beer & nuts
The lounge "Anjin" on the second floor of Building 2 will be offering new desserts to celebrate the 10th anniversary. IVY PLACE will be serving specially brewed beer to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Daikanyama T-SITE. This beer will be available at Daikanyama T-Site, along with a limited edition nut flavor inspired by the Forest Library, also created to commemorate the 10th anniversary.

8. SHARE LOUNGE Opens December 3rd　
"SHARE LOUNGE" will open on the second floor of Building 3 on Friday, December 3rd. Details will be announced at a later date.
