Daikanyama Tsutaya Bookstore SHARE LOUNGE

Daikanyama T-Site, operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki, hereinafter referred to as CCC), will celebrate its 10th anniversary in December 2021 by renovating the second floor of Building 3 into the "SHARE LOUNGE."

SHARE LOUNGE opened in November 2019 at TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shibuya Scramble Square with the concept of "a place where ideas are born and shared."This space, which combines the functionality of a shared office with the comfort of a lounge, has been well received by customers, especially in the context of a time when working styles have changed dramatically due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has since spread to 13 locations, including TSUTAYA Tamachi Ekimae and Futakotamagawa Tsutaya Electrics.

Now that remote work has become the norm and people can work anywhere, from home to a cafe, we are realizing that there is a growing need for people to work in inspiring environments, such as bookstores with a wide selection of books to serve as sources of ideas and comfortable spaces. In response to this customer need, CCC's Tsutaya Bookstore Company has set a goal of opening 100 SHARE LOUNGEs in the Tokyo metropolitan area in the future.
The flagship store is the recently opened Daikanyama T-Site SHARE LOUNGE. Surrounded by books selected by the concierge at Daikanyama T-Site and with views of the greenery outside the window, this comfortable and intellectually stimulating space will support "freedom of work style in the age of the individual."
Another unique feature of SHARE LOUNGE is its freedom of use. You can enjoy as many organic and natural drinks and snacks as you like, so you can use the space not only for work or meetings, but also as a cafe or bar.

Daikanyama TSUTAYA SHARE LOUNGE: 10 Features

1. This is the most comfortable and open floor of the Daikanyama T-Site, surrounded by greenery.
The large windows on all four sides offer views of the trees at Daikanyama T-SITE, where Daikanyama T-SITE Bookstore is located, and Kyu-Yamate-dori Street. The entire open floor, which is filled with sunlight, has been renovated into a SHARE LOUNGE.

2. It is open from 7am. You can use it until 10pm.
Mornings are a time of heightened creativity and intellectual productivity. Daikanyama T-Site SHARE LOUNGE will be open from 7am and we look forward to seeing you there.

3. A spacious 1300mm wide desk is provided by the window.
The window seats facing the green zelkova trees at Daikanyama T-SITE were the most popular area even before the renovation. A 1300mm wide desk has been installed there. Not only can you spread out your documents and work comfortably by yourself, but it is also suitable for use by two people.

4. We have organic and natural drinks and snacks.
Enjoy a total of 25 drinks, including smoothies you can make yourself, 17 types of juices, and coffee, as well as bread from Daikanyama's highly acclaimed bakery and 21 types of snacks, all of which you can enjoy as much as you like. We also offer alcoholic beverages such as sparkling wine and craft beer.

5. A variety of events will be held.
A variety of events will be held in the event space "Session:," which can accommodate up to 100 people.
We will plan content that will inspire SHARE LOUNGE customers and create opportunities for a community of participants to be born.

6. "Compact Daikanyama T-Site" inside the lounge. There are 3,500 books carefully selected by the concierge.
The lounge has 3,500 books on business, architecture, art, and more, all selected by the concierge at Daikanyama T-Site, which you can freely browse. This library contains the essence of Daikanyama T-Site in a compact format, including 700 business books. Each room has a different genre, such as the "Japanese Culture Room" or the "Natural Science Room," so please choose a room with your favorite worldview.

7. We have private rooms that can be used for video streaming and online meetings.
We have private rooms equipped with video streaming equipment. It can also be used for online and offline meetings.

8. Make reservations and payments through the app. Stress-free smart check-in and check-out are possible.
You can easily make reservations and payments using the app, and check in smartly by simply holding up a QR code. Once you register your credit card, you can also use Smart Checkout.

9. There is flat parking for 120 cars.
Daikanyama T-SITE has 120 flat parking spaces where you can park smoothly.

10. Anyone can use these excellent facilities and functions, and there is no membership requirement.
