Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. Tsutaya Bookstore Company (hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA) and indent Inc. (Head office: Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture; CEO: Kamagata Yuki; hereinafter referred to as indent), which provides the writing tool "Nola" that supports the creation of structured stories, have decided to hold the "Next Generation Writers Literary Award" for the second time this year, which was established last year and received 921 submissions. Applications will begin on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

This award is a unique literary prize co-sponsored by TSUTAYA and Nola, with the aim of "supporting the next generation of authors who will lead the book and manga industry in the future" and "providing comprehensive support for authors, from their writing environment to nationwide sales."In addition to Tokuma Shoten and Earth Star Entertainment, which are group publishers of TSUTAYA, monogatary.com, operated by Sony Music Entertainment, has also joined the event as a co-sponsor. There will be categories with different themes and genres for each publisher: "General Entertainment Novel Category," "Light Novel Literature Category," and "Comic Adaptation Original Category." The grand prize for each category will be determined through selection by the publisher, the "Nola" editorial department, and the Tsutaya Bookstore BOOK Concierge. Entries will begin on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, and the grand prize winner will be announced on a certain date in September 2022.
Through this award and future initiatives, TSUTAYA and indent will fully support the authors of the next generation who love books, manga, and writing, based on the philosophy of "creators first," and will aim to create entertainment works that will be enjoyed by a wide range of generations.

■Results announcement: September 2022
■Result notification:
Only those who pass the second and final selection will be contacted via the email address provided on the application date.
Notification of first selection results: Scheduled for August 2022
Notification of second selection results: Scheduled for early September 2022
Final selection results will be announced in mid-September 2022.
