CCC Group begins marketing support for Hitachi's new concept refrigerator "Chiiil"

- Crowdfunding and Tsutaya Electrics showrooms allow product promotion before general release -

CCC Marketing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuhiko Kitamura; hereinafter referred to as "CCC Marketing"), a member of the CCC Group, T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuhiko Kitamura; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan"), and One More Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Takehiko Numata; hereinafter referred to as "One More") will begin marketing support for "Chiiil," a new concept refrigerator being developed by Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.
In addition, advance reservations for "Chiiil" will begin on Monday, December 27, 2021, on the crowdfunding site "GREEN FUNDING" operated by One More, and the product will be on display at "Tsutaya Electrics +" in Futakotamagawa.

"Chiiil" was developed under the concept of "helping customers spend more time relaxing with their favorite things" as people spend more time at home due to changes in working styles and lifestyles. It is a new concept refrigerator that can be used to suit customers' lifestyles and preferences, with features such as "it can be easily placed wherever you want and used in combination to suit your lifestyle and preferences," "it comes in 10 colors that are compatible with interior decor, allowing you to create a space that suits your preferences," and "you can choose the temperature range depending on the food you want to store."

As part of Chiiil's marketing support, we have started accepting advance reservations on the crowdfunding site GREEN FUNDING from December 27, 2021, and exhibiting the product at Tsutaya Electrics +, a showroom where customers can experience the actual product. By leveraging the strengths of the CCC Group, which has customer contact points both online and offline, we will deliver the "Chiiil" concept to more customers and create opportunities to generate empathy.
Furthermore, in this initiative, CCC Marketing will analyze the user demographic who pre-ordered through "GREEN FUNDING" and use this as a marketing service in preparation for the general release. CCC Marketing and T Point Japan plan to propose solution packages that can be used for pre-marketing of products before they are released to the general public, to T Point partner companies as well as manufacturers developing cutting-edge products.

The CCC Group will utilize lifestyle data from 70 million people and, together with Hitachi Global Life Solutions, create value experiences based on the new concept of "Chiiil" and proceed with marketing in preparation for its general release.

■Shipping period: White (W), Nordic (LH), and Dark Gray (DH) colors are scheduled for April 2022, while other colors are scheduled for May 2022.
■What is GREEN FUNDING?: A crowdfunding site operated by One More Co., Ltd., a member of the CCC Group. In collaboration with stores such as "Tsutaya Bookstore," "Tsutaya Electrics Futako Tamagawa," and "TSUTAYA," the site features projects in a variety of genres, including gadgets, miscellaneous goods, movies, publishing, and music. Currently, together with 55 partners, we are supporting over 3,100 projects in raising a total of over 8.7 billion yen.
