- Utilizing AI matching contributes to increasing event participant satisfaction and couple rates -

CCC Marketing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuhiko Kitamura) and Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture, have been conducting joint research on matchmaking events utilizing AI matching*1 developed by CCC Marketing as part of the ``Initiative to support matchmaking in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture based on ``T'' data'' announced in July 2021. We are pleased to announce that the results of this research were released at a matchmaking event held in October and November.

CCC Marketing conducted joint research with Saijo City, which has a strong desire to try new things, to promote matchmaking support using AI matching, with the aim of increasing the number of couples formed and the number of successful marriages. In the joint research, the researchers analyzed the profile of people who are interested in marriage based on data from "T," and considered the best ways to promote and disseminate information, including the most appropriate methods of announcement and appeal, to encourage participation in matchmaking events. As a result, the number of applicants for the October and November events was approximately double the capacity. Event participants were also provided with an AI matching service that uses data from T-Points, which is used by 70 million people, and data on the tendencies of happy couples to predict compatible "potential soul mates."As a result, the rate of couples forming exceeded 50%, and in a survey of participants, around 80% responded that "AI matching was helpful" and "I would like to continue using the AI matching service in the future," which contributed to improving satisfaction among participants at matchmaking events and increasing the rate of couples forming.

With the highest total fertility rate in Shikoku (1.75), ICT education, and other benefits, the city has a great working and child-rearing environment, and as a "city that supports challenges," it places emphasis on interpersonal connections, leading to an increasing number of young people moving there from the city. These efforts have been recognized, and for the third consecutive year, the town was ranked first nationwide in the young generation/single person category in the "2022 Best Countryside Places to Live" ranking published in the February issue of Takarajimasha's "Country Living Book."

*1: We have developed an AI-based matching algorithm that predicts lifestyles and values such as food, clothing, and shelter based on T-Card data, and predicts compatibility between two people by applying machine learning to the model data. When developing the algorithm, we prioritize protecting our customers' personal information and privacy, and use trend data obtained through statistical analysis of T Card data.
