Tsuruga City (Mayor: Takanobu Fuchigami) and Hokuriku Electric Power Co., Inc. (Tannan Branch Manager: Masato Kawahara) signed a memorandum of understanding today with CCC Marketing Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Kazuhiko Kitamura) to promote environmental and energy initiatives based on the Comprehensive Regional Cooperation Agreement concluded on June 22, 2021.

Going forward, the three parties will work together to consider specific measures to realize a zero-carbon city in Tsuruga City, including the local production and consumption of energy using electricity generated after the purchase period under the renewable energy feed-in tariff system has expired (hereinafter referred to as "post-FIT electricity").
