"TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shimokitazawa" is a bookstore based on the concept of "a place where you can be surrounded by books and update yourself every day."We aim to create an inspiring space where many ideas can be born, from business to culture, including work, art, design, fashion, theater, music, and more, for customers in their 20s and 30s who are highly sensitive and have a strong interest in creative things and events.
We also boast one of the largest comic book selections in the Shimokitazawa area, with a particular focus on genres such as practical life, business, and art/design, with books on offer across two floors.
In addition, the store will offer miscellaneous goods from Shimokitazawa-related brands, with themes changing periodically, such as "keep green," "curry," "daily stationery market," and "Trip to Lithuania."We also carry lifestyle items such as clothing accessories and household goods, stationery that can be used in business situations, and home appliances that will make your work style even more convenient.
The building will also feature a "SHARE LOUNGE" that combines the convenience of a shared office with the comfort of a lounge, and various events are planned to be held there. As both a cafe and a place to work, the building will offer an inspiring space for Shimokitazawa customers.

The store offers a lineup of books tailored to the region, and boasts one of the largest comic sales areas in the Shimokitazawa area. We have a selection of products that will please customers in their 20s and 30s visiting Shimokitazawa.

To commemorate the opening, Kusakura BOOKS, which has two stores in the Tokai area, has set up a permanent pop-up store to promote Shimokitazawa as "an experimental district - a town where more diverse challenges than ever before are born." The store will also be displaying and selling the latest gadgets commercialized through the crowdfunding site GREEN FUNDING, and will be displaying recommended books with comments from Mikan Shimokita tenant staff under the theme of "Jimokita."
