(Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Sekito Tatsuya; hereinafter referred to as Kuradashi), which operates the socially responsible shopping site "KURADASHI," have begun collaborating on "reducing food waste" and have opened a special website. To commemorate the opening, a joint campaign will be held from Wednesday, March 30th.
Kuradashi's vision is to be "the company that reduces food waste the most in Japan," and they work to reduce food waste by purchasing consumable products that are difficult to sell through normal distribution channels due to factors such as approaching expiration dates, seasonal products, dirty or scratched packaging, or damage caused by natural disasters, and selling them on their social contribution shopping site, "KURADASHI."
CCC Marketing has been providing marketing support to deliver essential products to customers who need them, and has been co-creating products that utilize unused resources with consumers, based on unique data*1 collected from over 70 million T Members, which accounts for one in two Japanese people.
Kuradashi and CCC Marketing have begun collaborating on the topic of "reducing food waste" and have launched a special website. To commemorate the opening, a joint campaign will be held from March 30th. During the campaign period, if you use "KURADASHI" on the special website, you will be entered into a lottery to win 1,000 T points. T members are welcome to try out the "KURADASHI" service, deepen their understanding of the social issue of "food waste," and enjoy great savings on their everyday shopping.
Going forward, CCC Marketing and Kuradashi plan to develop regular services for T members on "KURADASHI" and disseminate information on "food waste" using T Point's owned media, and will consider full-scale collaboration to achieve "food waste reduction" with more consumers.
