Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary, Tsutaya Taiwan Co., Ltd., opened their seventh store in Taiwan, the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Hsinchu Nanya Store, a lifestyle-focused BOOK & CAFE that combines a bookstore and a cafe, in the Taroko Nanya Plaza shopping complex in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, on April 23, 2022.

Hsinchu City, home to Hsinchu Science City, which was established with the aim of establishing a science and technology industry in Taiwan, is an industrial city also known as Taiwan's Silicon Valley.
Taroko Nanya Plaza, where the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Hsinchu Nanya Store will open, is a large commercial facility housing many tenants catering to businessmen who work in the surrounding Hsinchu Science City, as well as families, primarily in their 30s and 40s.

"TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Hsinchu Nanya Branch" is the first BOOK & CAFE in Hsinchu City, with the concept of "providing family time in Hsinchu that adults can enjoy as well."
The store's interior features an impressive "book pavilion," and its open atrium creates a cozy space that makes you feel like you're enjoying a picnic in the park. The store stocks a wide variety of products, including approximately 50,000 books and magazines, stationery, and private brand products created in collaboration with up-and-coming Taiwanese creators.

Additionally, WIRED CHAYA, created by Style Develop Co., Ltd., will open as Hsinchu's first BOOK & CAFE. WIRED CHAYA will be offering a Hsinchu branch-exclusive menu that can be enjoyed by both adults and children, making it a "BOOK & CAFE where you can also enjoy a meal" that can be enjoyed by a wide range of customers.

WIRED CHAYA, run by Cafe Company Co., Ltd., will not only allow customers to enjoy a meal and a book in the store, but will also offer exclusive TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Hsinchu Nanya Taroko branch menu items such as truffle hotpot, children's lunches, and takeaway items such as premium ice cream and donuts.

2) A wide range of books and magazines aimed at families
The TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Hsinchu Nanya store is approximately 1330 square meters in size and stocks a total of approximately 50,000 books and magazines. We offer a space that can be enjoyed by individuals or families, with a selection of "business books" aimed at business people who work in Hsinchu Science City, many of whom live nearby, and "children's books" aimed at children in families.

3) A wide variety of stationery and miscellaneous goods, including private brand development in collaboration with young Taiwanese creators
The store stocks stationery and miscellaneous goods, including TSUTAYA's private brand stationery and miscellaneous goods "HEDERA," as well as private brand goods exclusive to TSUTAYA Bookstores, imported from Japan, stationery and miscellaneous goods that can only be purchased at TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE, and kitchen goods aimed at families. In addition, the store will offer original products aimed at discerning customers in the Hsinchu area, including stationery items in collaboration with Sanrio, and mugs and cafe goods in collaboration with young Taiwanese creators.
