CCC and Nomura Real Estate Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Create New Value in the Workspace Sector

- "SHARE LOUNGE Kameido with H¹T" opens as the first affiliated store -

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda / hereinafter referred to as CCC) and Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Daisaku Matsuo / hereinafter referred to as Nomura Real Estate) have signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of creating new value for customers and society and increasing customer contact points in the workspace sector, and are pleased to announce that the first facility, "SHARE LOUNGE Kameido with H¹T" (hereinafter referred to as "the Facility"), will open on April 28th. This will be the first store-type workspace for personal use among the H1T locations developed by Nomura Real Estate.

CCC opened the "SHARE LOUNGE" at TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shibuya Scramble Square in November 2019, with the concept of "a place where ideas are born and shared.""SHARE LOUNGE" combines the convenience of a shared office with the comfort of a lounge, and is a new space that can be used as both a cafe and an office, allowing people to spend their time freely and in their own way to their heart's content. Currently operating at 13 locations (as of the end of March 2022), the company aims to open 100 stores in the future, mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Nomura Real Estate Development began offering its satellite-style shared office brand "H¹T (Human First Time)" in October 2019 to respond to the diversification and efficiency of work styles. By establishing numerous "H¹T" locations in central and suburban areas, the company aims to improve individuals' work-life balance, increase labor productivity, and increase the number of workers by establishing a foundation for balancing work with childcare and elderly care. The company currently operates 216 locations (including affiliated locations as of the end of March 2022), primarily in the Tokyo metropolitan area. In order to meet the needs of diverse work styles and workplaces, we have already begun expanding our box-type workspace*1 to personal use in addition to corporate use since March 28th.

With this basic agreement, the two companies will combine CCC's platform, customer database, and lifestyle content with Nomura Real Estate's office development know-how to jointly open "SHARE LOUNGE Kameido with H¹T," aiming to create new value for customers and society in the workspace sector and expand the number of locations where it can be used.

Furthermore, going forward, the two companies will promote system integration that combines their know-how and enhance customer value and convenience, thereby working together to develop mutual businesses and develop bases that create customer value in a new era.

About "SHARE LOUNGE Kameido with H¹T"

This facility, which will be the first standalone store of "SHARE LOUNGE," combines the cafe and office services of "SHARE LOUNGE," which has been developed under the concept of "a place where ideas are born and shared," with the office design and services that "H¹T" has been developing to date, aiming to create "a space where people can concentrate safely and comfortably."The facility offers a comfortable, lounge-like space decorated with carefully selected furniture, a full range of amenities such as free drinks and nuts and high-speed Wi-Fi, individual booths where people can work alone and concentrate, and books for browsing proposed by TSUTAYA. We have 70 seats available, and we offer a cozy and comfortable environment where you can work while relaxing. This space can be used as a cafe or workspace, and customers can choose how they want to use it.
Reservations and payments can be easily made using the app, and smart check-in and check-out can be done by simply scanning a QR code, making for a stress-free and convenient experience. Additionally, we plan to set up several priority seats available exclusively to "H¹T" members, providing a base where employees can work more conveniently and freely.
In the future, we will also hold a variety of events and plan content that will inspire customers who use "SHARE LOUNGE Kameido with H¹T," creating opportunities for the creation of a community of participants.
