- CCC and Saibu Gas Urban Development establish joint venture -

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki) has established a joint venture, Afford Co., Ltd., with Saibu Gas Urban Development Co., Ltd. (Head office: Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City / President and CEO: Sato Misao), and will open the Kyushu Ito Tsutaya Bookstore (planned and operated by Afford Co., Ltd.) in spring 2023 (scheduled).

Kyushu University Ito Tsutaya Bookstore is located in the Next Generation Research and Development Center, a complex centered on research and development facilities, based on the concept of being a "hub that serves as a nexus that fosters knowledge, sensibility, and creativity." As a "hub of knowledge," it will create connections with people, provide a place for new discoveries, and offer a place for self-expression.
Furthermore, we aim to create a local community centered around Kyushu University Ito Tsutaya Bookstore through various events that lead to learning, and to become a bookstore that weaves its way into the future within a facility that promotes collaboration and cooperation with Fukuoka City and Kyushu University.
