CCC Marketing Research Institute (Director: Minoru Niihashi, hereinafter referred to as "CCC Marketing Research Institute"), a research institute at CCC Marketing Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Makoto Tashiro) that weaves together the thoughts of consumers, has begun providing support for regional agriculture and digital transformation using data as part of its regional revitalization consulting services that will lead to the sustainable development of local communities. As the first step, CCC Marketing Research Institute was commissioned to carry out tasks such as sixth-sector industrialization using data as part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' agricultural digital transformation initiative, and worked with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
CCC Marketing Research Institute, a think tank that walks and thinks together with the people who live there, launched a regional revitalization consulting service in November 2021 that views local areas and residents as a single "town" and uses the power of "data," "creativity," and "consulting" to create the future of the town. Through our work with local communities and residents, we have come to believe that one of our missions is to share with as many people as possible the thoughts and challenges that each individual has about their community, as well as their approach to solving those challenges and the solutions they use, and to share knowledge and co-create together. In the future, we will provide information that will be useful for the future of the region and its residents through a dialogue titled "How to Create the Future," in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
Following the first project undertaken by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, CCC Marketing Research Institute conducted a dialogue with Mr. Abe on the current challenges facing Japanese agriculture and the goals of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' agricultural digital transformation.

In the coming digital age, data will play a major role in management. The government will promote and provide open data in a way that makes it easier to use data held by the government, and will create opportunities for people in local communities to make use of the data. Furthermore, I feel that it is important to create an environment where new know-how can be provided, new discoveries can be made, and new actions can be taken by bringing in new professionals who can process data to local and production areas. We believe that data and human connections can create new value in the agriculture and food business.
