Voting comments for the Grand Prize winning work "Yamada-kun and the Level 999 Love Story"

- It's really fun to see Yamada, who has no interest in romance or people, gradually open up to the protagonist and become attracted to him. The artwork is really good, and the unusual setting of a shojo manga x game is great.
・I love Akane's cheerfulness, compassion, and generosity! Yamada is so cool too!!
・As the story progresses, Yamada's feelings become more and more apparent, and it makes my heart flutter every time I read it ♡
・Yamada is just so cool and Akane is just so girly, and the slightly nerdy gaming topics are also fun!

Comments from guests attending the award ceremony

This is a photo of Suzuki Mogura, a comedian from the comedy duo Kuuki Kaidan.

I was obsessed with comics and didn't have a girlfriend until I was 30, but I'm happy now that I was able to marry the first girlfriend I ever had. That's how I learned about love through comics, so I'm glad that things haven't changed in this day and age.

I took "Holyland" to the barber and ordered the main character's hairstyle (laughs). The award-winning comics are all very interesting, so I hope you will pick them up and read them.

For me, comics are like a textbook on life that encourages me when I'm feeling down, and I'm always helped by the lines and memorable scenes. All of the winning works were era-defining, so I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

In addition, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," which has become a social phenomenon, was already ranked in 2018.
