A-Co-op East Japan app introduces "T" smartphone service

A-Co-op East Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Tatsuo Munemura; hereinafter referred to as "A-Co-op East Japan"), a JA Zennoh Group company that operates food supermarkets and other businesses in the Kanto and Tohoku areas, and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Keita Sugiura; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") will begin offering the "A-Co-op East Japan App," which incorporates "T" smartphone services such as the "Mobile T Card," from Monday, August 1st.

The JA Zennoh Group launched the T Point service at A-Co-op Kinki stores in July 2019 and at A-Co-op Kanto stores in April 2020. We have been offering convenient and advantageous shopping experiences through our advantageous T Point campaigns and "T Money," an electronic money service that can be used by loading cash onto T Cards/Mobile T Cards, which was launched in May 2021.

In order to provide a more convenient service centered on smartphones, we have recently revamped the "A-Co-op East Japan App" and introduced the "T" smartphone service. In addition to the traditional favorite store registration, sale information, and event information, we have also added the "Mobile T Card" with one tap, "T Card Coupons" discount coupon information, and flyer information exclusive to A-Co-op East Japan.

In addition, this fall, the app will also offer a service that allows users to earn and use T Points at A-Co-op East Japan's "Net Supermarket."

A-Co-op East Japan and T Point Japan will strengthen their smartphone-based service development and aim to create services with high customer value by utilizing DX (digital transformation) through data and technology. Additionally, we will utilize the T-Point database to manage store operations, such as product lineups and sales floor layouts, and work on new CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to offer a more enjoyable and convenient shopping experience.
