Kokumin Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Kinumaki Hidenobu; hereinafter referred to as Kokumin), which operates drugstores and dispensing pharmacies in 18 prefectures across Japan, has entered into a capital and business alliance with Welcia Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Matsumoto Tadahisa; hereinafter referred to as Welcia HD), and together with T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Sugiura Keita; hereinafter referred to as T Point Japan), will begin offering T Point services at Kokumin Drug, KoKuMiN, Silk, and other stores operated by Kokumin Co., Ltd. nationwide from Thursday, September 1, 2022.

With Kokumin joining the Welcia Group, starting from Thursday, September 1, 2022, approximately 170 stores nationwide, including Kokumin Drug, KoKuMiN, and Silk, will be accepting "T Card" or smartphone payments at the time of payment. Mobile T CardIf you present this card, you will receive 1 T Point for every 100 yen (excluding tax). In addition, the points you accumulate can be used at Kokumin Drug, KoKuMiN, and Silk, as well as at approximately 150,000 T-Point partner stores nationwide, with 1 point equaling 1 yen. In addition, you can also use "T Money," an electronic currency that can be charged to your T Card, so you can complete the entire process from points to payment by simply presenting your "T Card/Mobile T Card" once.

In addition, like other Welcia Group stores, we offer services that allow you to use your T Points even more advantageously, such as "Double T Points Every Monday," "Seniors' Day" (15th and 16th of each month) where customers aged 60 and over can earn triple T Points, and "Customer Appreciation Day" (20th of each month) where you can use your T Points to make 1.5 times the amount of purchases (see the summary below for details of the campaign).

Please note that points will be awarded to the Kokumin Point Up Card you are currently using until Wednesday, August 31, 2022. In addition, for customers who do not have a T card, we will start issuing T cards with an original Kokumin design in stores from Thursday, September 1, 2022 (scheduled), so please take this opportunity to apply.

Customers aged 60 and over can earn triple T Points by presenting both a Senior Passport and a T Card/Mobile T Card.
■ "Customer Appreciation Day" (held on the 20th of every month)
If you use 200 or more T Points, you can enjoy 1.5 times the amount of shopping.
