- Launching "OUTDOOR Asobikuru WORLD" together with Geibunsha -

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki; hereinafter "CCC"), a planning company that proposes new lifestyles, is pleased to announce the launch of the "CCC OUTDOOR LAB" project, which will undertake a variety of activities to turn the outdoors into a culture.

According to the "Auto Camping White Paper 2022" published by the Japan Auto Camping Association, the number of people participating in auto camping has increased by 23% compared to last year to 7.5 million, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and auto camping is regaining its pre-COVID popularity as an outdoor activity. In this context, CCC is launching the "CCC OUTDOOR LAB" project, positioning the outdoors, which has the appeal of bringing people of all ages together and coexisting with nature while cherishing it, as one of its new lifestyle proposals. Going forward, we will collaborate with various companies and local governments to create opportunities for many people to enjoy the outdoors, with the aim of making the outdoors a part of Japanese culture.

As the first step in the "CCC OUTDOOR LAB" project, we will be launching "OUTDOOR Asobi-kuru WORLD" in collaboration with Geibunsha Co., Ltd. (Head office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Arifumi Miyazaki; hereinafter referred to as "Geibunsha"), a publisher within the CCC Group that publishes hobby and lifestyle magazines with a focus on cars. Geibunsha's titles are "Where are you going today?" and "I can't wait for the weekend."We publish the car life magazine "OUTDOOR Asobi-kuru" to share with our readers these exciting feelings and the wonderful experiences that can be had through outdoor activities. Through this collaboration, CCC and Geibunsha will use Geibunsha's knowledge of various outdoor lifestyles as a starting point to work on the concept and plan various events for "OUTDOOR Asobi-kuru WORLD."

CCC OUTDOOR LAB

"OUTDOOR Asobikuru WORLD" is based on the theme of "OUTDOOR x Play x Cars = Let's play with life," and will propose an outdoor lifestyle to many people, with the three core themes of "CARAVAN," "FIELD," and "FESTIVAL."

■ "CARAVAN"
Mini events will be held at T-SITE, Tsutaya Bookstores, and major commercial facilities across the country. We will be spreading the world of outdoors and cars at our local store.

■ "FIELD"
We hold outdoor experience events at campsites across the country. We offer a variety of experiential experiences in actual outdoor fields.

■ "FESTIVAL"
Following the success of the "CARAVAN" and "FIELD" events that have taken place across Japan, we will be holding one of Japan's largest outdoor and car events at a convention center in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

As part of "CARAVAN," a two-day event is planned for September 2022 at Kashiwanoha T-SITE (Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture) featuring an exhibition of custom caravans, the development of garage brands, and outdoor content for children.

CCC will continue to propose new lifestyles through various services, including the CCC OUTDOOR LAB project, in order to create "an environment that makes people and the world more fun and happy - a culture infrastructure."
