MIDORI Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture; Representative Director: Kenichi Nakahata) and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "TSUTAYA") opened "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE AIZU" on Friday, September 16, 2022, with the aim of creating a store where people in the Aizu region can make new discoveries through products and experiences, leading to richer lives.

TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE AIZU, the first TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE to open in Fukushima Prefecture, is based on the concept of "a bookstore that writes a new page in your life," and will offer the region's largest selection of books, stationery, games, trading cards, and more.The store aims to enrich the lives of each and every customer by allowing them to make new discoveries through its wide variety of products.

The store is also a "BOOK & CAFE" style store where you can relax and read a book with a cup of coffee, and it also has a kids' space, making it a space that the whole family can enjoy.

In addition, as a community space, we will hold events and workshops where you can enjoy local culture and experiences. We aim to be a place where people can discover new things they love, and to connect people with each other, and with the city, with TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE AIZU as a hub.

1) "BOOK & CAFE" with the region's No. 1 selection of books
This is the Aizu region's No. 1 book store and sales area. We offer an overwhelming selection of comics and children's books for children, a wide variety of study guides to satisfy local students, and a large selection of books related to caregiving and welfare for caregivers and welfare workers. This is a "BOOK & CAFE" style store where you can relax and enjoy the overwhelming selection of books with a cup of Starbucks coffee in hand, even before purchasing.
