CCCMK Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takahashi Yoshinori; hereinafter referred to as "CCCMKHD") is a co-creation platform that utilizes T-Card data and assets to engage in dialogue with various stakeholders across industries, primarily with consumers, to think about and take action on ethical food actions that will lead to the global issue of "sustainable food."T Card Everyone's Ethical Food Lab"We are working on this.
On Thursday, September 15, 2022, as part of our efforts to promote ethical food action, we held an ethical food event where people could eat and learn, "Hello, Ethical: A Pizza Shop That Will Change the Future," at "CRAZY PIZZA SQUARE" (1F Share Tenjin, 1-2 Tenjincho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo). The event offered eight special pizzas prepared by Chef Masakazu Taira of popular restaurants "Don Bravo" and "CRAZY PIZZA," which are visited by fans from all over Japan, and up-and-coming food producer and chef Mikio Morieda, who is also involved in the formulation of the "Ethical Food Standards."Pizza is a food that is familiar and easy to eat for a wide range of people, as it is topped with a variety of ingredients such as vegetables, meat, and fish. Taking advantage of the characteristics of this pizza, we held an experiential event where people could learn while eating pizza that "anyone can take ethical action."
On the day, participants enjoyed pizza topped with free-range Tosa Jiro chicken, Miyagi ASC Ginou salmon, and organic eggs from Kurofuji Farm, while learning about the purpose of the T-Card Everyone's Ethical Food Lab, which is to think about and act on ethical food actions that lead to sustainable food, as well as the significance and content of the Ethical Food Standards announced in March.
■Event flow
Participants were asked to choose one of eight types of pizza topped with ethical ingredients in advance, and on the day of the event, when they opened the pizza box they were served they were shown how their chosen pizza was connected to the future of food. In addition, guests were given cards that listed how ethical the ingredients were and the ethical points of the producers, and a talk session was held with experts from the ``T Card Everyone's Ethical Food Lab'' and Chefs for the Blue representative directors Hiroko Sasaki and Miki Morieda, as well as Chef Masakazu Taira. Sasaki and Morieda explained the "Ethical Food Standards" and social issues surrounding the ethical ingredients used in pizza toppings, while Chef Taira spoke about his ethical perspective as a chef and his pursuit of deliciousness using ethical ingredients. While enjoying pizza, participants were able to deepen their understanding and empathy for ethical food.
