- Towards regional revitalization consulting services that lead to sustainable regional development -
CCC Marketing Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "CCC Marketing Research Institute"), a think tank at CCCMK Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takahashi Yoshinori), which weaves together the thoughts of consumers, will participate in a monitor survey on "Half-Farming, Half-X," one of the initiatives to solve local agricultural, forestry, and fishery issues, which will be implemented by Akita Prefecture in Nikaho City from September 2022.
"Half-farming, half-X" refers to a lifestyle in which one balances work in the primary industries of agriculture, forestry, and fishing with work in "X (something)" other than agriculture. Akita Prefecture is promoting the "half-farming, half-X" model as one way to address the regional issue of a declining agricultural population due to population decline and an aging society.
As a "think tank that walks and thinks together with the people who live there," CCC Marketing Research Institute has launched a regional revitalization consulting service that views the region and its residents as one "town" and uses the power of "data," "creativity," and "consulting" to create the future of the "town."Starting in 2021, in order to further deepen our regional revitalization consulting services that will lead to sustainable regional development, we have decided to participate in the "Half-Farming, Half-X" monitor survey program being conducted by Akita Prefecture in Nikaho City.
This program involves farm work at a fig farm from September 27th to 29th, farm work and interaction with agricultural businesses and players working to revitalize the region from October 17th to 30th, and workshops to identify issues from a field perspective and then consider solutions.
At CCC Marketing Research Institute, consultants from CCC Marketing Research Institute will be working in local agriculture, discussing their passion for agriculture with producers and local players, and will use this to provide consulting aimed at resolving the local issues facing Nikaho City. Going forward, we will further strengthen our regional revitalization consulting services based on the experience and knowledge we have gained through this initiative, and will use our unique perspective and attitude of being close to the people who live there to solve town issues.
