(Headquarters: Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture / President and CEO: Yada Takeshi) have opened "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Lalaport Sakai" on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, within the large commercial facility "Lalaport Sakai," which is having its grand opening in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture.

Aiming to adapt to the changing times and provide a channel that is perfect for any customer, TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Lalaport Sakai will open on the first floor of Lalaport Sakai, a facility that is taking steps to reduce its environmental impact, such as installing solar panels, and will feature a space where customers can experience authentic events and entertainment, as well as 212 specialty stores, including stores that are opening for the first time in Kansai and Sakai City.

"TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Lalaport Sakai" is based on the concept of "discovering wonderful ways to spend your own time," and is not only a place to enjoy coffee and a book with the family, but also has a kids' space, making it a fun spot for families and seniors to go out on the weekends.
