Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki) and Hero Co., Ltd. (Head office: Ushiku City, Ibaraki Prefecture / Representative Director: Oguri Masakatsu), which operates the discount supermarket Hero, will open TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE MARUNOUCHI on December 15, 2022, on the 3rd and 4th floors of Maru Building, located in front of Tokyo Station, the gateway to Tokyo, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in September 2022.
The concept of "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE MARUNOUCHI" is "a bookstore where people gather, think, and inspire."Aimed at customers who gather in the Marunouchi area, the bookstore aims to be a lifestyle-oriented store where customers can find their favorite books, miscellaneous goods, and the latest information in a comfortable space.
In addition to stocking approximately 80,000 books, TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE MARUNOUCHI will also offer a wide range of stationery and miscellaneous goods, household goods such as the aroma brand BOOKMARK, and a wide range of lifestyle appliances for the kitchen and beauty.
Additionally, the Starbucks inside the store will be a BOOK & CAFE where you can enjoy both books and coffee.
The store also houses the "SHARE LOUNGE," the first of its kind in the Marunouchi area. The SHARE LOUNGE is an open-plan space spanning two floors, the third and fourth floors, with 203 seats, the largest in Japan, as well as 17 private rooms and two conference rooms.
On the main floor, the wall-to-wall windows offer a panoramic view of the beautiful Tokyo Station, day or night. Drop-ins are available for as little as 60 minutes, so you can use the SHARE LOUNGE whenever you have free time. Reservations can be easily made via the app, and the space can be used not only as a workspace where you can concentrate, but also as a cafe and bar, allowing you to freely enjoy it as a place to relax while shopping or after work.

We have one private room each on the third and fourth floors that can be used not only for meetings but also for girls' nights and other events, and require advance reservations.

We have 17 private rooms and two conference rooms where you can concentrate and hold online meetings. The private rooms are also equipped with "actress mirrors" equipped with LED lights, which can be used for live streaming, etc.
