(Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yoshinori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCCMKHD") have entered into a T-Point Program agreement and, together with Sanyo Shimbun Co., Ltd. (Head office: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture; CEO: Masanori Matsuo; hereinafter referred to as "Sanyo Shimbun"), a T-Point affiliated sales agent, will begin issuing the "Support T Card (Try Hoop Okayama)" from Saturday, January 7, 2023, which will allow customers to support "Try Hoop Okayama" with their accumulated T-Points.
Background of the initiative
Established in 2018, Tri-Hoop Okayama is a professional basketball team based in Okayama City and Tsuyama City. While aiming to be promoted to B2, the team is also focusing on development and promotion, including the launch of a school business in 2014 and the first high school and university coaching in the B League (Okayama Gakugeikan High School and Pacific Rim University).
Additionally, Sanyo Shimbun Business, as a T-Point affiliated sales agent, is promoting the expansion of T-Point affiliated stores within the prefecture, and has long sought measures to support local sports and revitalize the local economy through T-Points, with a particular focus on Try Hoop Okayama, which is aiming to be promoted to B2. This initiative (1): Launch of "Support T-Card (Try Hoop Okayama)"
Combining T-Points, which are enjoyed by approximately one in two people in Okayama Prefecture, with the extensive experience and wide-ranging knowledge that Sanyo Shimbun has cultivated in advertising promotions, event planning and management, and travel planning and sales, the first "Support T-Card (Tri-Hoop Okayama)" will be issued on Saturday, January 7th, by a B.League West Japan team, aiming to create a win-win situation for Tri-Hoop Okayama, fans, and the local economy.
This card allows T Points earned at T Point partner stores nationwide to be automatically used to support the team, allowing you to support the team even with your everyday shopping. Your T-Point donations will be used to improve visitor satisfaction through the production and services we have been strengthening this season, so that visitors will think, "Tri-Hoop Okayama's games and events were fun, and I want to see them again."
The ticket design mainly features the mascot character "Trip," which was created in the first year of the B League's entry and has continued to liven up the venue as a member of the team. This initiative (2): T-Point service launched at home arena merchandise sales
In addition, starting on the same day, a service will be launched that allows you to earn and use T Points when purchasing merchandise at the Try Hoop Okayama home arena. If you present your T Card/Mobile T Card at the time of payment, you will earn 1 T Point for every 200 yen (excluding tax). In addition, the accumulated T points can be used at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen. In addition, we are planning a campaign in the future where visitors will receive attendance points when they check in with the "T Point App" during home games.
