-First "SHARE LOUNGE" opens in central Kanagawa Prefecture-

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Masuda Muneaki) and Universe Development Co., Ltd. (Head office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Noda Akihiro), a TSUTAYA franchisee, have opened the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Ebina store on March 8, 2023, in ViNA GARDENS PERCH (hereinafter referred to as "PERCH"), a complex facility opened by Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd. on October 28, 2022, in front of Ebina Station that "realizes wellness for the mind and body in daily life."

The concept of "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Ebina Store" is "Convenience with New normal."We have a wide selection of books, including business books and art and outdoor-related books, aimed at customers who work near Ebina Station, customers who use Ebina Station for commuting to work or school, and information-savvy customers who live in the area. In addition, the store will offer a wide range of stylish stationery, aromas, cosmetics, tableware and other miscellaneous goods that will add color to your daily life, catering to both on and off-duty lifestyles, and aims to create a space that offers even more richness in the way that only PERCH can offer. Additionally, at the Starbucks inside the store, you can enjoy a selection of carefully selected coffee along with books from the BOOK & CAFE.

① "SHARE LOUNGE" - the first store in the central Kanagawa area

SHARE LOUNGE Ebina is the 19th store in Japan and the first in the central Kanagawa area. The space has been designed with a focus on comfort and can be used however you like, allowing you to work or relax, and will also be used to host events for local customers.

②Can be used for various occasions such as taking a break during work or shopping

It is a comfortable space where customers can use it however they like, such as in a semi-private booth when they want to concentrate on work or study, or on sofa seats when they want to relax in the cafe/bar while shopping or after work.

3. Free drinks and snacks, Wi-Fi, and a full range of amenities

The cozy, lounge-like space is decorated with carefully selected furniture and comes with a full range of amenities, including free drinks and nuts, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, displays, bone conduction earphones, and compact humidifiers available for rental.

4. A convenient app that allows you to make reservations and check in and out quickly
Reservations can be made using the official "SHARE LOUNGE" app from two weeks in advance (14 days in advance) up to 15 minutes before the start time of use. In addition, if you register your credit card or other card information on the app and make a reservation through the app, you can check in and make payment by holding the QR code over a dedicated terminal installed in the store. Your payment will be automatically settled by credit card upon check-out.

■What is “SHARE LOUNGE”?
"SHARE LOUNGE" opened in November 2019 at TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shibuya Scramble Square with the concept of "a place where ideas are born and shared."This space combines the functionality of a shared office with the comfort of a lounge. With the COVID-19 pandemic bringing major changes to working styles, the space has gained support from customers and expanded to new locations both domestically and internationally, with the app having been downloaded more than 130,000 times. (As of March 8, 2023: 19 stores in Japan, 2 stores in Taiwan, and 9 affiliated stores)

Now that remote work has become the norm and people can work anywhere, from home to a cafe, there is a growing need for people to work in inspiring environments, such as bookstores with a wide selection of books to source ideas and comfortable spaces. In response to this customer need, CCC has set a goal of opening 100 SHARE LOUNGEs in the Tokyo metropolitan area. We will continue to open stores in a variety of facilities, including commercial facilities, office buildings, hotels, and residences.
