- Aiming to serve as a bridge between Japan and Taiwan and further develop economic and information exchanges -

Mirai Okinawa Co., Ltd. (Head office: Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Matayoshi Tsukasa; hereinafter referred to as "Mirai Okinawa"), a regional trading company of the Okinawa Financial Group, and Taiwan Tsutaya Co., Ltd. (Head office: Songshan District, Taipei City; General Manager: Hashimoto Ryunosuke; hereinafter referred to as "Taiwan Tsutaya"), a subsidiary of Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. that operates lifestyle proposal businesses including the development of TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE in Taiwan, signed a business collaboration agreement on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, with the aim of coordinating commercial flows and logistics when disseminating regional information on local specialties and tourism from all over Japan, including Okinawa, to Taiwan, serving as a bridge between Japan and Taiwan, and contributing to the further development of economic and information exchanges between the two countries.

Mirai Okinawa is a bank-affiliated regional trading company in Okinawa Prefecture, and aims to provide new value to the region by connecting the people, things, and events that have been nurtured in Okinawa up to now. Utilizing interbank networks and platforms, we provide support for product development and market development through business matching, as well as planning and consulting support to help resolve issues faced by businesses and the local community in Okinawa Prefecture.
Taiwan Tsutaya has been operating TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE in Taiwan since 2017 (number of stores: 10 as of May 2011). Aiming to stimulate the creativity of people in Taiwan and provide new reading styles and exciting experiences, TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE offers a new lifestyle to its customers through books, magazines, stationery items that can only be purchased at TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE, artwork, and events.

(*) Okinawa International Logistics Hub: A logistics infrastructure representing Okinawa, created by All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd., which is considering business expansion mainly in the Asian region, in conjunction with Okinawa Prefecture's international logistics hub concept.

Mirai Okinawa and Taiwan Tsutaya will continue to serve as a bridge between Japan and Taiwan, contributing to the further development of economic and information exchanges between the two countries.
