"Artist Cafe Fukuoka" opened on September 1, 2022, under a contract with CCC to operate as part of "Fukuoka Art Next," an initiative by Fukuoka City to create a city of colorful art.
In the six months since its opening, Artist Cafe Fukuoka has welcomed over 8,000 visitors. In addition to handling consultations from artists (approximately 300 cases), matching artists with companies, and hosting events such as artist meetups and workshops, the cafe has contributed to the growth and problem-solving of artists, while also providing a space and experiences that make art a part of everyday life for local residents.
We are now launching the "Artist Startup Program 2023," a series of courses aimed at developing the skills of artists aiming to make great strides in the future, and at creating a forum for artists to meet and interact with each other, thereby nurturing artists with an eye toward success overseas.
