- Creating a model to sell attractive products from Fukushima Prefecture and give back to the local community the data and fees obtained through crowdfunding -

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Takahashi Yoshinori; hereinafter "CCC"), together with HAMADOORI13, a general incorporated association aiming to promote the development of the Hamadori region of Fukushima Prefecture, has launched a local information website called "fromhere FUKUSHIMA" (hereinafter "this website") to introduce and support the fascinating people, things, and experiences of the Hamadori region of Fukushima Prefecture, where, more than 10 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake, the region is moving towards recovery and at the same time, a young generation with an entrepreneurial spirit is growing up. Aimed at people who live in Fukushima Prefecture or have an interest in Fukushima Prefecture, we will promote the attractions of Fukushima Prefecture's Hamadori region in a comprehensive manner, including introducing people who are active in Fukushima Prefecture, selling products made in Fukushima Prefecture, and conducting crowdfunding to support activities in Fukushima Prefecture.

The Hamadori region of Fukushima Prefecture, which was once reduced to zero after several trials, is now becoming a place where determined people with a desire and passion to develop things gather. We launched this website together with people who are oriented towards the future of Fukushima Prefecture, "from here," meaning "where we are now."

Key points of "fromhere FUKUSHIMA"

1. Articles focusing on people taking on unprecedented challenges
We will convey the charm of people living in the Hamadori area of Fukushima Prefecture and those associated with the area. We will feature articles featuring people in their 20s and 30s who are shaping the future, supported by the previous generation, including those who were born and raised in Hamadori, as well as those who have moved here to realize their dreams. The people featured here are referred to as "skippers," meaning captains or helmsmen, because they are also the pilots who will create and communicate the future appeal of Fukushima Prefecture.

2. A comprehensive selection of "Fukushima's finest products"

The store will sell a variety of products, including food, drinks, crafts, and experience/event tickets, all recommended by "Skippers" active in Fukushima Prefecture and the editorial team of "fromhere FUKUSHIMA," and will convey the charm of Fukushima's Hamadori region through both "things" and "experiences."In the future, we plan to sell original products and services that are created through collaboration projects with Skipper and external companies.

■Business background and objectives
As part of the "Wide-area Marketing Project for 15 Cities and Towns in the Hamadori Region and Other Areas* (hereinafter referred to as "this Project")," which aims to increase the number of visitors to the Hamadori region of Fukushima Prefecture, CCC is working to disseminate information in a unified manner with the aim of attracting people to the 15 cities and towns and creating exchanges.

This website aims to be a model where data and fees obtained by adding product sales and crowdfunding functions to information dissemination aimed at creating interaction can be attributed to and utilized by the local community.

*The "Wide-area Marketing Project for 15 Cities, Towns and Villages in the Hamadori Region and Other Areas" aims to increase the number of visitors to the "15 Cities, Towns and Villages in the Hamadori Region and Other Areas," which includes the 12 evacuation areas of Fukushima Prefecture (Tamura City, Minamisoma City, Kawamata Town, Hirono Town, Naraha Town, Tomioka Town, Kawauchi Village, Okuma Town, Futaba Town, Namie Town, Katsurao Village, and Iitate Village) and three more cities, towns and villages (Iwaki City, Soma City, and Shinchi Town).
