News Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Junki Miura; hereinafter referred to as "News Technology"), which operates "THE TOKYO TAXI VISION GROWTH" (hereinafter referred to as "GROWTH"), one of the largest taxi signage media in Tokyo*2, and CCCMK Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshinori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCCMKHD"), which operates the common point system "T Points," will begin offering a joint package plan from Thursday, October 12, 2023, which will enable taxi users to verify their purchases after viewing advertisements. By combining large-scale data from 11,500 taxis in Tokyo and T-Points, which are used by approximately 130 million people*3, we will provide a new marketing solution for taxi signage.

[Taxi Advertising x T-Points] Developing a joint package plan that allows users to verify purchases after viewing ads

GROWTH, a taxi signage media operated by News Technology, began operations in April 2019 and distributes advertising and information content during the monthly travel time of 7.7 million taxi passengers within Tokyo's 23 wards. In October 2022, we will introduce new signage that is larger and more functional, and will begin broadcasting "HEADLIGHT," an information program for travel time, as we strive to further enhance the value of travel spaces.

Since its launch, it has been used by advertisers in a wide range of industries, from B2B to B2C, with approximately 500 companies placing ads. As the media environment, advertiser needs, and marketing trends are constantly changing, we have planned and implemented the development of advertising menus that take advantage of the viewing space and mobility characteristics of taxis.
CCCMKHD operates a marketing solutions business that uses T-Card purchasing data, which amounts to approximately 3 billion transactions per year, and a wide variety of lifestyle data from approximately 130 million consumers across the real world and the internet, to solve problems faced by companies and consumers and make proposals that meet a variety of needs.

News Technology, which has a network of 11,500 taxi signage units in Tokyo, and CCCMKHD, which has large-scale data and analytical capabilities on approximately 130 million people, have collaborated to create a joint package plan that allows for measuring the effectiveness of taxi advertising.

Joint package plan details

With this plan, in addition to showing videos promoting products on the taxi signage media "GROWTH," it will also be possible to hold a user campaign where users can win "T Points" or coupons for specific products by answering a survey via the menu bar at the bottom of the tablet. We will verify the survey results of respondents and their subsequent purchasing behavior and provide a report.
