"SHARE LOUNGE," a place where ideas are born and shared, opens its first store in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions

Culture Experience Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shinichiro Kamaura; hereinafter referred to as "CX") has signed an agreement with Shikoku Kiosk Co., Ltd. (Head office: Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture; CEO: Takahiro Terakawa; hereinafter referred to as "Shikoku Kiosk") regarding joining TSUTAYA, with the aim of creating a new era of experiential bookstores that will foster local interaction.

Based on this agreement, we will open "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE TAKAMATSU ORNE (tentative name)" in the Takamatsu Station building "TAKAMATSU ORNE," which is scheduled to open in March 2024. "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE TAKAMATSU ORNE" (tentative name) is based on the concept of "the gateway you want to visit the most in Shikoku - an extraordinary space next to the everyday", and aims to be a store where people can feel close to "art" through a variety of proposals, in keeping with the spirit of Takamatsu, a bookstore that has developed a unique art culture, including books of various genres.

Furthermore, "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE TAKAMATSU ORNE (tentative name)" will open the first "SHARE LOUNGE" in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions. "SHARE LOUNGE" combines the convenience of a "shared office" with the comfort of a "lounge." It is a new space that can be used as both a cafe and an office, allowing you to spend your time freely and in your own way to your heart's content.

"SHARE LOUNGE" is available for anyone to use in their free time, starting from a minimum of 60 minutes. Reservations can be easily made via the app, and the space can be used not only as a workspace where you can concentrate using your PC, but also as a cafe and bar. You are welcome to enjoy the drinks and food available in the store, making it a great place to relax while shopping or after work.
