JLPGA Tour "V Point x ENEOS Golf Tournament" kicks off on March 15th

The 13th tournament will have a new name and will be held at Kagoshima Takamaki Country Club!

CCCMK Holdings Co., Ltd., Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CCC Group"), and ENEOS Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "ENEOS") will hold the "V Point x ENEOS Golf Tournament" (hereinafter referred to as "the Tournament"), a women's professional golf tour certified by the Ladies Professional Golf Association of Japan (JLPGA), for three days from Friday, March 15th to Sunday, March 17th, 2024, at Kagoshima Takamaki Country Club (Aira City, Kagoshima Prefecture).

This tournament, which will be held for the 13th time since its inception in 2010, will combine the "T Points" provided by the CCC Group and the "V Points" provided by the SMBC Group, and ahead of the launch of the blue and yellow "V Points" next spring, the tournament name will be changed from "T Points x ENEOS Golf Tournament" to "V Points x ENEOS Golf Tournament."The newly redesigned tournament will be held in Kagoshima, the location of the first tournament, with the cooperation of Misumi Co., Ltd., a business partner of the three companies, and will see a heated battle between a total of 108 players, including top professionals.

This golf tournament will be created together with local residents and will involve a variety of initiatives based on the concept of "connecting people and sports."We are planning a number of events and projects that will allow children to experience sports in a more intimate way, such as holding an event at Kagoshima Takamaki Country Club to allow local elementary school students to enjoy golf, offering free admission for children up to junior high school age*2 during the tournament, setting up a kids' viewing area, and offering an experience of making golf markers using recycled plastic bottle caps. Additionally, the venue will collaborate with the global outdoor lifestyle brand Nordisk to host an event where visitors can relax and enjoy watching golf in the lush greenery of the golf course. Tickets for the tournament are scheduled to go on sale in early February.

Through the heated battles between players putting on their best performances, the CCC Group and ENEOS will deliver to everyone the joy of golf and the true essence of sports - moving people's hearts. We will continue to strive to run the tournament in a way that is enjoyable for local residents.

- Competition method: 54-hole stroke play
(1) After 36 holes, the top 50 players will advance to the final round.
(2) If there are two or more players in first place at the end of the final round, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held at a hole designated by the Competition Committee on the day to determine one winner.
- Competition rules: The Rules of Golf approved by the R&A and the USGA (effective January 2023), JLPGA local rules and competition conditions, and additional local rules for this tournament will apply.
