- "Akachan Honpo LaLaport Izumi Store" to reopen on Thursday, February 29th -

Akachan Honpo Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka / CEO: Ajishi Kenji, hereinafter referred to as Akachan Honpo) and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / CEO and COO: Takahashi Yoshinori, hereinafter referred to as "CCC") have entered into a strategic partnership to promote Akachan Honpo's goal of "bringing joy to parenting."As part of our efforts to realize this vision, the two companies are developing a joint creative project. As the project's first initiative, the Akachan Honpo LaLaport Izumi store will be renovated and reopened on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Background and purpose of the initiative

Since its founding, Akachan Honpo has been supporting childbirth and child-rearing, with the motto "Childcare with a Smile. With the corporate message "Akachan Honpo," we provide products, information, and services related to pregnancy, childbirth, and child-rearing. We also aim to realize a society where people can give birth and raise children with peace of mind by gaining a thorough understanding of "life with a baby" and resolving the social issues that arise from this.

On the other hand, CCC is a company that creates cultural infrastructure. With this mission in mind, we are working to propose new lifestyles through various platforms, including TSUTAYA and Tsutaya Bookstore.

Now, through collaboration between the two companies, the two companies have formulated a new store concept: "A place where important things in life with a baby come together," aiming to create a comfortable, safe space where people can gather, as is necessary for each child-rearing parent and their daily life, in a society where diversity in child-rearing is accepted. As our first effort to realize this concept, we have decided to renovate Akachan Honpo LaLaport Izumi store.

Details of the initiative

Based on the results of CCC's market research and data-based marketing analysis, the two companies worked together to create a concept, offering a product lineup that meets customer needs and creating a highly unique sales floor, as well as a new space that is supportive of child-rearing.

We offer suggestions to make parent-child first experiences even more memorable, and we also provide support to those who are a little unsure about child-rearing, providing a place where each parent can find what is important in their own child-rearing journey.

About "Akachan Honpo Lalaport Izumi Store"

Based on the results of market research and marketing analysis, we will expand our vehicle sales area, focusing on strollers, which are in high demand among customers, and offering sales areas that offer suggestions tailored to travel and outings.

In addition, we will be creating a new baby space called "Ao no Heya," where parents and infants can sit and rest and take care of their babies, and a new "Midori no Hiroba," which is integrated into the outdoor scenery and provides information on play and learning through events tailored to children's development, providing new and exciting spaces where you can have fun with your baby.

The first step in the collaboration between CCC and Akachan Honpo is the renovation of Akachan Honpo LaLaport Izumi store, and we will continue to provide updates on future initiatives.
