Culture Experience Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shinichiro Kamaura; hereinafter referred to as "CX") and Shinsui Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Hiromi Sato; hereinafter referred to as "Shinsui") have opened "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shin-Tsunashima" on the third floor of the "SHINSUI" commercial facility in the "Shinsui Building," which Shinsui opened on Friday, March 15, 2024.

The concept of "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shin-Tsunashima" is "Connect, Start a New Community."
As a symbol of the beginning of a new era for Tsunashima, SHINSUI aims to be a place where people can check in and experience Tsunashima's culture. TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shin-Tsunashima aims to become a place for local people to interact, a new community, through a wide variety of books, miscellaneous goods, events, and more, for customers who gather in Tsunashima.

TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shin-Tsunashima has approximately 50,000 books and magazines. Due to the characteristics of the Tsunashima area, where many new families live, the store offers a wide selection of children's books, practical books for daily life, business books, literary books, and paperbacks. In addition, the store also offers a diverse selection of stationery items, including work items that increase the convenience of teleworking, designer stationery that is fun to use, and food and cosmetics that will add color to your daily life.

In addition, a Starbucks will be set up inside the store, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and time choosing books from the store as a BOOK & CAFE.

We will also be opening our fifth store, "SHARE LOUNGE," in Kanagawa Prefecture. The SHARE LOUNGE has a total of 125 seats, and includes terrace seats with pleasant sunlight streaming in, sofa seats and booth seats where multiple people can enjoy drinks and food, and private spaces for work, study, reading, etc.
We have a variety of seating options, including workspace seats that can be used alone and fully private booths where online meetings can be held.

The SHARE LOUNGE is available for drop-ins starting from as little as 60 minutes, so anyone can use it immediately when they have free time. Reservations can be easily made via the app, and the space can be used not only as a workspace where you can concentrate, but also as a cafe and bar, allowing you to freely enjoy it as a place to relax while shopping or after work.

As a local community that connects people in the area, TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shin-Tsunashima will also hold events where local residents play a leading role, contributing to the revitalization and development of the local area.
