Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") and The Pokémon Company (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tsunekazu Ishihara) are pleased to announce that the service fees and lineup of original merchandise have been decided for the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE, an official Pokémon Card Game lounge to open on the 5th floor of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA on Thursday, April 25, 2024.  

In addition, ahead of the opening on Thursday, April 25, 2024, we have released a promotional video that gives a feel for the atmosphere of the "POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE."

■ "POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE": Service details and fees announced *Reservations begin on Monday, April 15th
At the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE, you can enjoy the Pokémon card game experience in a special space with a sophisticated design, with carefully selected, high-quality original playing seats. Prices start from 1,500 yen (excluding tax) per person for 60 minutes.

The walls of the "POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE" are decorated with designs such as the energy marks of the "Basic Energy," creating a space that is full of the feel of the Pokémon Card Game. All of the tables and chairs are custom-made to ensure that you can enjoy playing Pokémon Card Games in a comfortable environment.

In addition, you can enjoy free drinks and snacks (approximately 50 types of drinks and approximately 30 types of individually wrapped snacks) at the match seats. Not only can you play the Pokémon Card Game with cards you bring with you, but we will also lend you the necessary items such as decks and supplies for the "Pokémon Card Game Classic (※)" free of charge, so you can come to the store empty-handed and still have fun.

We have one private room that can accommodate up to four people (see pricing for details), so you can play in a group without worrying about others or just relax.

Additionally, customers using the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE will receive one welcome card randomly selected from 11 types featuring an energy mark design as a commemorative novelty. The welcome cards are also a good size to use as dividers inside your deck case.

On the back, you can write down the date of your visit and the deck you used, and you can also write down your playing experience.

■ Merchandise area: Original merchandise lineup decided
The merchandise area will sell Pokémon Card Game related products and original Pokémon Card Lounge merchandise based on the floor design, such as the energy marks of the basic energies.

A total of 30 items will be on sale, including luxury items suitable for everyday use, such as clothing, stationery, and household goods, as well as items suitable for use in battles, such as deck shields, deck cases, and rubber play mats.

■ Gallery Area: Six special oversized cards will be exhibited
In the gallery area, six special oversized cards will be exhibited, which have been faithfully reproduced to retain the texture and sparkle of the original cards. You can enjoy the charm of Pokemon cards in a powerful way.

The Pokémon Card Game is a two-player competitive trading card game based on the world of the Pokémon video game series. In addition to illustrations, the cards also contain information about the Pokemon, such as its moves and HP, which indicate its strength, so you can enjoy "collecting" the cards in the same way as building a Pokemon encyclopedia. You can also battle using a "deck" made up of 60 cards.
