Kojitsu Sanso Co., Ltd. (Head office: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture; President and CEO: Ryoichi Matsumoto; hereinafter referred to as "Kojitsu Sanso"), which operates a comprehensive mountaineering, climbing, and outdoor equipment specialty store, a climbing gym, and an outdoor-themed e-commerce mall, along with CCC MK HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCCMKHD"), and Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yukihiko Onishi; hereinafter referred to as "Sumitomo Mitsui Card"), will launch a service that allows users to accumulate and use "Blue and Yellow V POINT" at 40 directly operated "Kojitsu Sanso" stores, a mountaineering and outdoor equipment specialty store operated by Kojitsu Sanso, from Monday, July 1, 2024.

"Blue and Yellow V POINT" (operated by CCCMKHD, official name: V POINT) is a new shared points service launched by CCCMKHD and Sumitomo Mitsui Card on Monday, April 22nd.

Kojitsu Sanso was founded in 1924 as Japan's first mountaineering equipment specialty store, and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2024. We operate Japan's oldest comprehensive mountaineering, climbing, and outdoor equipment store, a climbing gym, and GsMALL, an outdoor-focused e-commerce mall with an all-outdoor theme. Since our founding, our mission has been to spread the enjoyment of mountain climbing and the outdoors, and our experienced staff, who truly love mountains, the outdoors, and nature, provide products, knowledge, and know-how for safe and comfortable mountain climbing and outdoor life.

Through this initiative, customers of the 40 directly managed Kojitsu Sanso stores operated by Kojitsu Sanso can earn 1 Blue and Yellow V POINT for every 200 yen spent by presenting a card that earns Blue and Yellow V POINT when paying in-store. Furthermore, if you pay with a Sumitomo Mitsui Card*, you will also earn "blue and yellow V POINT" as payment points.

*This applies to credit cards that earn V POINT. For details, please check the Sumitomo Mitsui Card website.

Accumulated points can be used at Kojitsu Sanso, with 1 point equaling 1 yen, and can also be used at approximately 100 million stores worldwide that accept Visa touch payments.

Kojitsu Sanso, CCCMKHD and Sumitomo Mitsui Card will continue to provide services that will please many customers through the "Blue and Yellow V POINT" service at Kojitsu Sanso stores.

"Blue and Yellow V POINT" is a new points service that CCCMKHD and Sumitomo Mitsui Card will launch on Monday, April 22nd. In addition to the current 150,000 T-POINT partner stores, the number of stores where you can use Visa will expand to 7.5 million stores in Japan and 100 million stores worldwide.
Customers who currently only use a T-CARD/Mobile T-CARD can apply for an eligible Sumitomo Mitsui Card* and earn double the amount of "blue and yellow V POINT" - shopping points and payment points - when shopping at V POINT partner and Visa member stores. Additionally, by using the V POINT Pay app, customers will be able to make payments with their blue and yellow V POINT at 7.5 million stores in Japan and 100 million stores worldwide that are Visa affiliates.
*There are some credit cards that do not allow you to accumulate blue and yellow V POINT.
