(Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter "CCC"), whose mission is to create a world where people can live together, will launch a new store on Thursday, April 25, 2024, entitled "Create a world with what you love. It has been reborn with the theme "

"SHIBUYA TSUTAYA"

A place where cultures carrying a lot of love come together and people who know that love meet across race, borders, gender and generations. And what you like becomes what you love. Lots of love creates new passion. That passion moves the times and creates culture. SHIBUYA TSUTAYA will create a new cultural landmark (sacred place) facing Shibuya Scramble Crossing, a world-famous tourist destination visited by many tourists from both Japan and overseas.

Floors where you can create your own favorites with IP from around the world (1st floor to basement 2nd floor)

・1st floor: Shibuya IP Square A (hereinafter referred to as "SIPS A")
"SIPS A" on the first floor is the main floor, equipped with three indoor LED screens and an outdoor entrance LED screen, allowing visitors to experience the worldviews of various IP content from around the world through large-screen visuals.

・1st basement floor: Shibuya IP Square B (hereinafter referred to as “SIPS B”)
SIPS B, located on the basement floor and directly connected to Shibuya Station on the subway, is an immersive space designed using art exhibition fixtures used in art museums around the world. It is a floor where collaborative events can be held, including gallery exhibitions and merchandise sales, with IP content from artists and other creators.


・B2: Entertainment Wonderland
The "Entertainment Wonderland" on the second basement floor is a floor that brings together all the things customers love, focusing on artists, talents, and idols. There will be large-scale exhibitions using huge panels displaying a wide range of content, hanging flags, and extra-large 4K screens, as well as pop-up sales of CDs, DVDs, photo books, magazines, and more, and limited-edition SHIBUYA TSUTAYA merchandise.
In addition, "Favospe" is a space that brings together customers' favorite artists, talents, idols, and other "favorites." It aims to become a place where customers can gather together their favorites (Favorite Space), and in addition to displaying works, it will also introduce artists and exhibit handwritten POPs.

Inspiring Cafe & Lounge (2nd to 4th floors)

・2nd floor: Starbucks 

The second floor has an area where you can see the Shibuya Scramble Crossing and the entire cityscape below, and the store has a total of 100 seats, so you can enjoy your time with your coffee.

・3rd to 4th floors: SHARE LOUNGE   

SHARE LOUNGE is an hourly cafe/lounge that combines the functionality of a shared office with the comfort of a lounge. (https://tsutaya.tsite.jp/store/lounge/) 
 A standing viewing area has been set up near the window on the third floor. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Shibuya's symbol, Shibuya Scramble Crossing, directly in front of you.

Additionally, in collaboration with Japan's leading figure manufacturers, one-of-a-kind life-size figures and high-quality luxury figures based on world-famous IP content will be on display throughout the floor. It is a space where you can feel Japanese culture.

The fourth floor is a space surrounded by bookshelves and art that will enrich your work style and inspire your ideas, aimed at the many creative workers who visit Shibuya. We have 26 semi-private booths, 75 open space seats, and two conference rooms for 4 and 8 people. Additionally, a permanent collaboration corner with GREEN FUNDING, a crowdfunding platform that plans for the future, will propose efficient and productive work styles through selected products of the future.

In addition to coffee and nuts, both floors will also offer frozen meals such as pasta, chicken and potatoes, and ice cream, a first for SHARE LOUNGE.
The regular plan is 1,650 yen (tax included) for 60 minutes, and the alcohol plan is 2,200 yen (tax included) for 60 minutes, so you can enjoy it as you like.


Floors where you can experience experiences you can only find here (5th to 8th floors)

・5th floor: POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE  

At the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE, you can enjoy the Pokémon card game experience in a special space with a sophisticated design, with carefully selected, high-quality original playing seats. Prices start from 1,650 yen (tax included) per person for 60 minutes.

The walls of the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE are decorated with designs such as the energy marks of the "Basic Energy," creating a space that is full of the feel of the Pokémon Card Game.To ensure that you can enjoy Pokémon Card Game matches in a comfortable environment, we have 78 seats, all of which have custom-made tables and chairs, as well as one private room that can accommodate up to four people.

The merchandise area (free admission) will sell Pokémon Card Game-related products and original "POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE" goods based on the floor design, such as the energy marks of the "Basic Energy" cards. A total of 30 items will be on sale, including luxury items suitable for everyday use, such as clothing, stationery, and household goods, as well as items suitable for use in battles, such as deck shields, deck cases, and rubber play mats.

・6th floor: IP Bookstore
　The "IP Bookstore" consists of three areas: "POP UP SHOP," "IP100," and "Gallery," and will mainly sell comics, figures, merchandise, and more.

More than half of the products will be original, limited-edition "SHIBUYA TSUTAYA" products produced by IP bookstores, and there will also be events in collaboration with IP content that allow visitors to have experiences unique to "SHIBUYA TSUTAYA."Additionally, a large screen will be installed on the floor, and regular programs will be aired, including collaborations with VTubers from around Japan to promote local areas, as well as programs showcasing the IP content rankings of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA.

・7th floor: Collaboration Cafe
The "Collaboration Cafe" is a space where fans can connect with each other through experiences they can only find here, collaborating with various IP content from around the world, mainly anime, comics, artists, and luxury brands.

We will be serving original food, desserts, and drinks inspired by the worldview of the IP content. Customers who order the original menu will receive limited original gifts. The floor will feature displays of large panels, costumes, and related goods, and can be used as a photo spot. We also plan to broadcast live footage and sell original limited edition goods.

・8th floor: STUDIO/Rooftop
"STUDIO" is a multi-functional floor equipped with infrastructure that can simultaneously broadcast events held on each floor of "SHIBUYA TSUTAYA," such as artist autograph sessions, on the building's signage and outdoor vision. As for the rooftop, from this summer onwards, we plan to use it as a space for holding collaborative events with IPs and filming promotional videos.

In the ever-evolving city of Shibuya, SHIBUYA TSUTAYA will provide a unique experience that can only be found here in the world as a new "cultural infrastructure."
