-Initial service launched exclusively for Hyundai Card members in Daikanyama, Shibuya and Roppongi-
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter "CCC") is pleased to announce that it has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Hyundai Card (Head office: Seoul, South Korea; CEO: Ted Cheong; hereinafter "HCC").
According to the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), the number of foreign tourists visiting Japan in April 2024 is expected to exceed 3 million, with the largest number of visitors coming from South Korea, at 660,000. Additionally, coupled with the popularity of Japanese IP content, the number of foreign tourists visiting Japan, including those from Korea, using Tsutaya Bookstores is on the rise. Against this backdrop, CCC has decided to enter into a basic agreement with HCC, a Korean credit card company, to provide services for Korean tourists visiting Japan. HCC has 12 million members and is a leader in Korea's credit card industry with its unique product offerings, branding rooted in cultures such as music, architecture, and art, and advanced data utilization.
Following this basic agreement with HCC, starting from Thursday, June 13, 2024, HCC members visiting Japan from South Korea will be offered a complimentary one-hour pass to use CCC's "Daikanyama TSUTAYA SHARE LOUNGE," "Roppongi TSUTAYA SHARE LOUNGE," and "SHIBUYA TSUTAYA SHARE LOUNGE."Additionally, at the cafe and lounge "Anjin" in Daikanyama T-SITE, when you order a meal or dessert you can enjoy one free drink (for up to three accompanying guests). HCC members can enjoy special benefits by simply presenting their coupons at each store, and enjoy the opportunity to experience a new lifestyle and relax in a comfortable and inspiring space.
Going forward, CCC plans to further develop its collaboration with HCC and undertake various initiatives to serve as a bridge between Japanese and Korean culture. We aim to propose lifestyles that enrich people's lives and contribute to the development of culture.
